agreed, I just don't that... There are kids all over Lewisville ISD that could be contributors, as well as Mesquite, Garland, Dallas, Desoto, Fort Worth, Denton. Pretty silly that so many of these kids go un recruited by us. The Colony has a RB right now who I think we should be all over. Doesn't have the break away speed but neither did Byrd, and he produced plenty of good stuff for us. Khalil Banks is his name. Check him out Billy.

That would seem to be the most beneficial way to get it done this year, bring in experienced bigs who can bring Bryce along and then bank on the fact he gets it figured out (at the D1 level) and can dominate starting the following year.

Coach Benford mentioned there was another young man who would be on campus this weekend that we are recruiting. He obviously didn't say a name as that would be a recruiting violation, but he seemed excited about this kid too. Here is to hoping we can land 2 good bigs to help usher Bryce along, and can let our guard play shine. I am looking forward to NT hoops again. We shall see how this goes.

These are the types of offers lists I like to see, ones we can recruit against. Lets see how this goes. Does a great job of getting his hands on passes, needs a bit of technique work, looks like he relies on that athleticism a bit much to be successful immediately at the next level. I love the passion, energy, and moxy he plays with. Ball Hawk which we need alot of in the secondary. Also, I thought he did a great job of jumping routes when he could.

There should be a separate thread called dream recruits where guys like him could be stored, and looked at as a cool thing we offered him now lets get back to reality type deal. Thanks for your work Billy!

Coach Mac, said at the Caravan last night that as long as he and RV are at NT there will never be a 5 home game season again. Take that for what its worth.

My very first one, Mark look forward to your call. 1. We have some good stuff brewing at UNT in athletics. 2. The academics seemed in line and I really liked that! 3. Coach Benford and I talked about a few of the kids I coached, he seemed legitimately interested, good for NT!! 4. Talked with Jailee (sp) and I mentioned a few girls at our MS. She mentioned she's recruited at MS before, and chuckled about that when I mentioned they were only MS. She knew a girl who left TC went to PCA Jade Williams who is probably far above NT but cool to know she knew her. As I coached her younger brother, more on that in 5. 5. TB wanted me to send him info on the boys I coached, who I made threads about, at least one anyway. They'll both be vying for varsity time as freshman at TC in BBALL. 6. Wish our coaches hit the metroplex even harder for FB recruits, TC has a RB who reminds me of B BYRD! Relentless, K-state, Purdue, Washington, and several other schools have been out multiple times taking video to take home and pitch the kid to their coaches. I really hope NT comes in and takes him, they let him and Bryan Hammond slip out of their grasp I will be really frustrated. I am going to do my very best to make it to Denton for the final coaches caravan Thursday. I had a blast at this one, we need to find a way to get the young alums to one of these events, as I think it would quickly engage them into NT athletics, fun event. Very cool to see the coaches interacting with the crowd. I would even venture as far to say they should have some type of event for YOUNG ALUM ONLY, Recently graduated within 5-6 years, and have your greeks make a competition out of the number of previous XYZ fraternity or sorority whichever got the most recent alums to attend is able to have their XYZ plastered over the NT athletics webpage for a month or a week or whatever. Seriously, if you have not been to one of these you should go it was pretty eye opening to see the positive support. I know we havent been as successful as we want, but I completely agree that our athletic programs are VERY close to exploding, and if they do, we could be in for a fun ride. We are in too good of a spot locally, and nationally, to not be dominant. It is time that I step up as an alum, and you do what you can to support our school. Thanks, and GMG

There should be a place on the forum where no one can edit except Harry or Fly or Kram, that lists unt alum owned businesses we could use/support that would be cool!!

Thanks!! Seems like they'd have every one who walked get inn lines and show them how to do that? Maybe another idea just say hey, this is how we can keep you connected once you leave and if you move you can update your info here if you want us to stay in contact?

Mark, one thought, how are the alums that don't receive these emails/have moved and address has changed, how do we get our information changed? I am planning on joining the MGC at Plano, then the following month I'll be signing my wife and I both up for lifetime alumni memberships. Both NT grads, but I believe there's got to be a place, possibly a website that alums know for sure they can go to, and update all their information . What do you think? Thanks for that post very promising! Maybe enough alum join MGC and we won't have to play $$$$$ games and we can bring these coveted names to apogee
