his coach told me this kid wanted to honor the first school that gave him a shot at being a D1 QB bc that has been his dream all his life. I tend to believe a kid like that, if something happened otherwise so be it, but why would you not even extend the offer? Hell we are recruiting kids who have 20-30 offers and we come in at the end, it's one thing to offer first or early. ATM came in late to offer, other than that not a school on their we can't out recruit if we get the right people in front of him. It would be us vs OSU and his family obviously lives in the area and I would be willing to bet they'd love to go watch him play 5 Saturday's a year ;-) got my schedule jab in.

honestly, yes, when I coached there Liberty Christian, UNT stopped by daily, I forget the DC's name (Clint Bowen) we lost him to Kansas. He would come in hang out draw stuff up, heck of a recruiter, heck of a ball coach. He always asked about kids we knew even if it wasn't at our school in the private sector that UNT could target.

Nick Starkel Got hurt early into his JR year, fits the mold of what Mac says he wants in QB with the height, and pro style guy. He and his dad reached out to coaches at UNT and never heard a stinking word.... He now holds offers from OSU and ATM..... Committed to first school who offered, could have and would have been us. He's now at the opening in Oregon and I believe it is also for the Elite 11. I am really struggling to support the current offensive staff. I know these facts bc I spoke with his QB coach who is a friend of mine this weekend about Nick and why he wasn't on UNTs radar or offer sheet. @BillySee58 what do you think? http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2959476/nick-starkel http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Nick-Starkel-169000

I know that other than 2013 Mac hasn't provided much hope in terms of forcing good QB play, I think his hand is forced this year. Yes, I know that it's ultimately his job, but Chico has been god awful at bringing in QBs, part of it is a system flaw which ee seem to be moving away from. I think our defense even though it is full of new faces will resemble 2013. I believe our Running Game ( If Wilson stays healthy***********) will be light years ahead of anything we have had since Dunbar. This kid is the real deal. You can say I am drinking green Kool-Aid all you want. Watching the secondary fly around during spring game, LBs running sideline to sideline, and the DLINE play was as good as it was without the huge influx of talent we are getting... It is on baby. Y'all realize we have the JUCO Defensive POY in Finney and I believe the JUCO leader in sacks(fact check please.) anyway, quit with all this the sky is falling BS. McNulty will be serviceable (if he's the guy) so long as our O can sustain drives, mix run and pass effectively, and he has more than 1 target. Harris can't do it all by himself, I think Marcus effing Smith, Daniel Khan, Goree, Smiley, and (JUCO can't remember how to spell his name) will provide just that to allow Harris 1 on 1 and then you'd better watch out for he and Goree to do real damage. We just need to get the ball in these cats hands and watch them do their thing. I also believe D'Aundrey Bradley gets it together and makes a big impact at some point. I chatted with one of his coaches the other day (from The Hill) he told me he and D'Aundrey had a long talk and that he (D) said he realized what a dumb mistake he made and how he jeopardized everything he worked for. We shall see only time will tell. Dang. Well, I'll post and watch the over and under reactions. I love me some UNT football! Wish we got another crack at UT this year, in game two where Smith and co, could go down there and show me how we roll.

think that would be worth an email to Mac, or tweet him, Chico, the o-line coach, Byrd, and whoever else you can find.

Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you, Apogee Stadium! They try and say it's not a good thing to be at the top blah blah blah, and the swing shouldn't be as drastic if you dominate your opponents. Anyways, here is the site. Byrd, Capper, and several others have put this link out there. http://www.predictionmachine.com/Home-Field-Advantage-College-Football-2015#.VZKSPiW0wdY.twitter

https://mobile.twitter.com/hoopdfw/status/615898625416282112 Looks like we're going after some more metroplex talent which I like. Wish they'd go hard after a few of his Dallas Mustangs teammates. (Ty Bennett) Per his Twitter acct his only offers are UNT And Weber state, however I read somewhere he had several 5-6 and one was Smu. Not sure of the validity of that but anywho, enjoy. Would the UNT football Twitter account get blown up or Macs acct if they posted this?
-
Doubt he's worried about McNulty, probably thinking bigger picture, nfl, arena, Canadian league etc. just a guess.

Great kid. Great athlete. Coached him as a freshman and every coach at Coppell was high on him. Kid was a stud in every sense of the word.

The kid has multiple offers, why on Gods green earth should a fan have to email a staff about a kid 15 minutes from their campus? Just curious. -

Not that we could land this kid, but @BillySee58 surely we should be able to pull a few kids from the large private schools around. I know dunno isn't big but always has top end talent, also the LT from desoto that got his first offer from Rice... Why not us? Why not us in on Kyleb Howell... Makes me sick the list could go on and on. Also, need a QB that's young... Way to let Nick Starkel slide right in front of your nose at Argyle Liberty Chrisitian and he gets no offer. GUH -
Will Tony Benford get to 20 wins in 2015-16?
