  1. Bean made some plays, but I think he also missed some pretty big ones too, had some huge missed tackles or bad angles. Granted, that was after the O had them on the field 2/3 the game. Gray impressed with his physicality. One thing got me fired up, all the trash talking we did that was unwarranted and looked stupid. Just shut your mouth and make plays.
  2. I'm not sure any of those stood out that much, Jimmy had a few decent runs, why we didn't stick with the stretch more amazes me it was the most successful play we had.
  3. You should have asked him what the hell "Boulevarding" is, thats what they call their Tail Gating scene. LAME
  4. So, now we rely on a players "character traits" to make plays? Dang, I wish Mini's Arm strength was as powerful as his work ethic, then we may be onto something.
  5. is the tune kid throwing for Hebron related? He tore up one of the Plano schools last Friday night.
  6. TRIPLE OPTION BABY!!!!
  7. everyone who has watched this train wreck the past few years
  8. The funny thing is, it looked like Chico was guessing what would happen in certain alignments and formations, Morris would make our defense line up how he wanted based on his formation and motion, then run the ball or play back to where we just shifted or moved from. The dude is an offensive genius how we missed out on him and got Mac will ALWAYS be beyond me, no it won't. RV might be the most complacent AD we have/will ever have.
  9. I can tell you what butt won't be in what seat. Mine.
  10. So who was it arguing with me about McNulty being the best QB based on some mystery practice they showed up to? There's no way, he can barely get the ball out to a 5 yard stop route before the crap SMU corners dang near pick 6'd it. I think Harris and Jimmy said something Mac didn't like and got suspended a quarter because they know who the best QB is and it's not hard to see. (Oh BTW I'm not normally a conspiracy type guy) that was fun to make up.
  11. Thanks RV. Appreciate the week one off week so we can come out and play like that against smut, have no time to heal injured players and seemed to have several go down with tight ham strings... Sweet another amazing season
  12. I'm terrified of them both. Yikes
  13. There was sarcasm there....I am not dumb, I know a guy of his talent would never come to UNT. Oh wait, if we gave him the reigns for the next 3 years maybe he would want to play. Long shot, sure. Anyway. I hope like hell that MiniMac proves me wrong over and over this year because I have 0 faith that he is a D1 level QB
  14. I'll save you some time. Be successful running the football in early downs, allowing drives to be sustained and eating Time off the clock. Do NOT let their qb scramble keep your pass rushing lanes and stay gap sound. Oh yeah, remind our corners that the fast guys they're covering are not supposed to get behind them.
  15. It doesn't matter at UNT you are right, we just run the ball. But if we ever want to become relevant you must have a QB who has arm strength. That concept seems to be hard to grasp as well. It is not a good feeling I can promise you that, I have not been a college coach either but know plenty. There is a ton of stress on the job, as well as high school coaching, the problem for me is, I don't understand how you can have two guys clearly as talented as Dajon, now Smith, and you can't dumb your offense down enough that they can figure it out. You think all those SEC QB's are the brightest players on the field? Maybe, but theres got to be a few in there who have 1 read then run. I support Coach Mac, I just hope our constant saying guys can't grasp the offense doesn't cost us a chance to capitalize on a decent season.
  16. what do you see that needs to happen for UNT to win, same for SMU
  17. when? Holy crap can our coaches be taken seriously if mini and Greer are our two best options moving forward?? Why are we the onLy school in North America who can't recruit a QB.
  18. yeah let's bust out technicalities and excuses, do you really believe Mcnulty is our best QB? If so our conversation is done. Can he lead, sure. If our defense and special teams can play like 2013 I'll take a DT like senior season and a bowl win. I just don't see it happening with Mini. I'll be at SMU, screaming just as loud as the next guy. Book it.
  19. yes, sat 4 rows up during spring scrimmage and saw more of Mcnulty than I ever care to see again. He has no arm strength, I don't care what tempo we run, he does not have the ability needed to be a D1 QB. I hope he proves me wrong, but it's obvious who has the most talent, coaches get paid a lot of money to get that talent to produce. (I am a coach, I feel comfortable saying that about coaches and talent)
  20. https://mobile.twitter.com/MeanGreenFB/status/640925925320884224 holy hell, McNair is a grown @$$ man!!!! Wow but he can't comprehend our complex offense... Come on man
  21. without a doubt.
  22. You think his Colorado State offer is still there with Khalil Banks from The Colony committed there?
  23. Why in the Hell didn't he come here? Doesn't he know he could lead us to a C-USA championship, waaaaa wonder if he could pick up our offense? Give me a break. Mac better win this year, I find it VERY hard to believe Smith isn't clearly the best QB on our roster.
