Dont disagree that some blame falls on him, I absolutely want to clean house. However, his hands are tied on kids he can recruit. He tried recruiting a QB from fresco ISD and McCarney said no be the kid didn't fit what HE wanted. I agree that Canales has some blame, but he doesn't get final say on who to offer that comes from the top.

why do you want Canales gone? It's not his fault his hands are tied on what QB he can recruit, what kind of talent pool he gets to coach is at the feet of the HC. It is obvious to me when Canales gets to call his offense and when Mac gets on the head set and says run the damn ball. If I'm Canales I say F you to Mac and I call my offense all the way, and if I get canned I get canned. Well never mind mind you clarified.

I am going to disagree with you on the bolded part, Tempo only refers to how quickly you get to the line and run a play. Honestly I wish we just went back to the old power stuff if this is what is considered "Up tempo." We take forever getting to the line we change formations dang near every snap and it is very irritating you can't run tempo stuff and have receivers running to opposite sides of the field constantly.

Yep. Square Peg meet Round Hole. If the dude has that much talent and struggles to learn the entire playbook run what he knows and get really really good at it. You don't need 1 million plays and formations, just look at SMU they ran about 6-8 formations and the same 5-6 plays out of each. Morris got our defense to line up how he wanted us to and ran where he wanted. Let his stud be a stud its a pretty simple game.

Tis a joke everyone step away from the bridge. I wouldn't do that chant either, it would be impossible to even try to get going. I actually thought about it during the 3rd quarter when we came out and gave them the ball back after 3 plays. I was a bit pissed, but it made me chuckle thinking about a stadium actually doing that.

When we go to the North Texas chant, instead we should have the students yell FIRE and the alumni side yells MAC think that would get the Prez's attention? Then the next time they run those cheerleaders out there for the North Texas chant we yell FIRE then RV. What say you?
