The competition he is playing would not even make a JV team in TX. He has great numbers but I don't understand why you keep bringing this kid up.

So Mac still going with Mini as the starter how silly, even worse D smith is a shotgun spread gun slinger QUIT SCREWING HIM OVER AND PUTTING HIM UNDER CENTER FOR THE LOVE. His throw was pathetic and a poor decision, but why the f is he throwing on the run (called play) no need put him in gun let him set his feet and throw a 100 mph fastball in their for a TD.
-
Yes let's take a qb who has a rocket arm and out him under center and use PA roll outs to try and score good game plan there big guy. Doesn't excuse the terrible throw but goodness gracious use some common sense.

I am not sure if this picture is going to be big enough to show what I am talking about. This alignment scares me, on the bottom of the picture they have a TE and Wing were in a 3, 5, and "Wide 9" being the corner back as your edge support. From the center to the TE on the top side they have man for man because we have shifted the LB's to the strength. We have a 1 technique between the guard and Center, a LB in a 50 technique head up on Tackle, and a DE playing Head up on TE looking to attack the C gap from my vantage point, all they need to run is toss/stretch to the wide side of the field based on our alignment. They choose to throw a hot route because as you can see our corner is 10 yards from LOS what in the name of all that is holy do we think we are doing? I am not saying we need to be press man the entire time, but seems like our corners watch guys run by anyway. Why not mix it up and try to throw timing of routes off go from press to a 5-6 yard cushion at least know you've taken away 1 route by alignment, where we line up right now is SCREAMING to be taken advantage of all the way down the field. Also based on this alignment if they did run a toss/stretch play to the wide side of the field, that Receiver can free release to go block the safety and now all the RB has to do is make a Corner (typically a guy not wanting to do a whole lot of tackling) miss. Not only is that all he has to do, but he will have plenty of room before having to make him miss as the Corner is 10 yards from the ball and even if he triggers quick the RB will have gained 3-4 yards. Just my two cents but I want everyone to see I have more frustrations than just QB. :) Thats for all you who think I only hate McNulty I have several BIG problems with the team and its current state. That is all have a wonderful day, and GMG.

shouldn't be accepted by anyone...

OUCH

keep her close once boys find out she knows that much about football they'll try to marry her on the spot, I'm taken or I'd look into it... Just kidding but damn that's impressive!
-
what town are you from? If you don't mind my asking
-
yes, email Pres Smastrek and voice your concerns, let him know what donation level you are and how excited you were about the season. We need to keep you around.

Why can't I attach a screen shot I did from our game vs Iowa I want to make a point from our defense.
-
I agree, except I am giving Willie 15 touches a game minimum (kid is a playmaker) and Jimmy show between 5-10 depending on how he's performing. While I realize this falls in your 20 split, I would personally lean more towards Ivery than Jimmy.

Have you watched Auburn lately? They're a run first (power football) team that does it out of shotgun and pistol stuff that still has the ability to stretch the field vertically in the air. It is not very hard to do, and is something UNT should easily be able to do.
-
Should he absolutely. Will he probably not
-
But, turnovers aren't acceptable around here.... You fumble you can't run the ball anymore, you throw a pick thats fine as long as you have red hair and are from Iowa.
-
solution for corners is get them coached up... Don't get beat deep, quit lining up 13 yards off the WR and giving them 6-8 yards on a throw that doesn't even cross the LOS. It's elementary football things that are getting us beat. Wallace, while he made some amazing plays just can't get it done, slide Fred back to MLB, slide finney to Sam, and let Ellis or whomever else we need to fill in. Our best playmakers on D stand on the sideline half the freaking game and it drives me nuts. I know when Bean comes back we will be back to same old, but every time Brandon Garner (sp) steps on the field he is either making a tackle or forcing it for an assist, or he is around the ball in some capacity. This is a kid who needs to see more PT

According to 247 sports he has 1 school listed as interested and that's Arkansas. He's a senior, has no offers, no visits, nothing.
-
Dont disagree that some blame falls on him, I absolutely want to clean house. However, his hands are tied on kids he can recruit. He tried recruiting a QB from fresco ISD and McCarney said no be the kid didn't fit what HE wanted. I agree that Canales has some blame, but he doesn't get final say on who to offer that comes from the top.

is this your brother? Why you keep bringing him up.
