They need to quit sending in two plays for now, the runs on the edge were killing them.. We do that from the start and it's a bit more respectable and good lord can we run routes that aren't either all verts or a 3 yard out route? Also, getting a bit tired of Several players I won't mention specifics but anytime something doesn't go their way it's hands up slinging head around pouting like a 7th grader... Grow up. If it's a problem address it on the sidelines not between Lines!

As I was waking up this morning, I was watching this replay of the Friday Night stories of games across the state. I saw so much talent and as I looked up name after name there was 1-3 offers per kid, and none of them were us. I know we are in a coaching change and hiring process, however I find it so confusing HOW we can be in such an amazing location, with facilities to boot, and we still can't get these talented Texas Kids to come to NT. Man, that just added a pile of steaming poo on top of me, an already down trodden fan. I hope D. Smith slings the rock all over the field the last few games and convinces some incredibly talented kids to come check NT out with the promise they get a shot to catch this gunslingers footballs. One can only hope right.

Ken McLaurin, darn sad we couldnt win to get him to go to UNT. Kid is a heck of an athlete. I coached him his freshman year he was special then, and I'm sure with time in the weight room and running he has gotten better.

Doesn't he have help with that regard as far as letters from alumni and such that are read before they even make it to him? Even if you address them to President Smastrek, I am asking that as a serious question.

I personally don't I think you have to see how it turns out, I'm just against RV making that decision or being anywhere near it.

I do think they play a much bigger role in the whole thing than they should, but it is the real world and money does carry a MUCH bigger stick than anything else.

That isn't true plenty of very wealthy people make stupid decisions daily. Plenty of people who make 50 thousand a year make great financial decisions just have less to work with. Also, the idea that RV is a better candidate than anyone is laughable. Our Athletic Department is inept at best, there is zero communication, we are not on social media (twitter specifically) relaying information. That is a major problem, all of his bad hires aside, one of my biggest problem with this department is everytime I try to buy tickets to an event it is like pulling teeth. Wait on the phone get transfered, have to ask questions to know the answer, take a week to get emailed back (if that is the route I go). That all falls on the AD. He obviously doesn't care, which is stupid. The elite dont fill the stadium up, it is the upper middle, middle, and lower classes that will do that. Yet those are the fans you neglect the most. Doesn't make much sense to me.

He should not be allowed to make the next BAD football hire, he proved to us through his track record in that sport he can't do it.

He could be a top rated receiver in the state if he played every year. If I am not mistaken this is his first time to play since MS? He is a good looking athlete.
