thanks for the insight, I was very curious.

If Canales wore a NT state hat would the board be in meltdown mode?
-
35-14 bad guys. That's my head. My heart says 31-28 NT wins on a FG as time expires.
-
Harry, why do that to yourself man? Those guys are idiots. Better HS jobs? Find me one that will pay what NT pays and PLEASE tell me about it, I will definitely apply.

And the there were two: Meacham and Littrell
GMG24 replied to Mean_Green09's topic in Mean Green Football
Litrell has coached with a lot of guys on multiple staffs, I think it's 50/50. Meacham has been in the game longer but don't discount the ties Littrell has now. -
Frisco Liberty vs Centennial, the game was postponed 2 hours the night before then canceled, then Friday night it was a monsoon, could hardly see the field from the press box, game delayed twice for lightning. No cheer, no band. It was the best football game ever. Just the kids playing ball, and the coaches coaching ball.

yes Meacham is their OC, Cumbie sits in the box and helps like any position coach would. They just tagged his name to a title to pay him more. He's still a great coach but he is not calling any plays. -

to pay the non OC (Cumbie) just a little bit more money. Kind of like an associate HC, all about the $. He he played Fullback in college at OU from 97-00 FWIW. -
we would be 0-11 in December. For at least two years. That's not a way to win recruits in a day and age when kids are in the here and now. I'm sorry I like the triple option, but I like watching it with other teams. Not NT. the service academy can offer a pretty sweet deal also, hey come get your degree, paid for, AND graduate a ranked officer making some good money when you're done if you so chose.

or moving them around. Their LB Ty Summers, played QB in HS. Only Rice and TCU offered.

I love getting tickets, day before a game. Or seeing fans who paid for seat backs not get them until week.... Oh wait some are still waiting. Until RV is gone it's all a joke.
-
Because Montgomery was a lock.

We could have, but the triple option is NOT something you just start doing or coaching. There are a ton of intricacies to it. Navy makes it look simple because they have been doing it for a LONG time. It also takes very specific recruits to run that and be success. I do think this years team was the most set up for that offense though. Several good backs, D. Smith a good runner, however I am not certain he could make the appropriate decisions (reads) to run it successfully. See his multiple goal line, first down leaps where the ball goes flying upon contact.

Fixed. I will blame it on the Turkey hang over.

Thx for the info Marty I'll jump back and forth.

Any except Cumbie I am good with all three of these guys. I like Applewhite, because he has just experienced helping a bad Houston team re ignite quickly. I like Meacham because he has success everywhere he goes. I like Littrell because he is a great mind, and can recruit kids to play where the academics could severely hinder his ability to get kids in. Sorry Lifer, mis type on my part.

I (kind of) feel bad for Houston loosing their QB taking a bad loss to UCONN and out of top 25. BTW you know how big Houston's QB is? 5'11" maybe 185 lbs (that is his listed weight) HOUSTON is playing on ABC vs Navy. You know why because when you WIN people pay attention. Man thanks for nothing RV. You continue to ruin the greatest game and game day experience there is. College football is suppose to be fun, you make it miserable.
-
Old school triple option vs new school spread, pistol, hopefully some Zone read (option football). What do yall think? Comes on at 11 I'll be watching.
-
he would probably be driving in at 4-4:30 at the office by 5:30 and leave around 9-9:30
-
I would bring 2-3 in, all freshman.
-
use your pull and get me into the club level, Coach.

why? SMU coaches all live in Prosper.
