Finney looked like a man amongst boys in spring game then barely saw the field in the fall. I was baffled by that, as well as Garner (sp) not playing much. Both made plays when they were on the field but could never stay out there consistently.

Combs didn't do much for me this season. Roberts on the other hand, wasn't he a JR? That could be a nasty combination.

1. Wheeler is relentless and once he gets his hands on you you're going down. Ball get off needs work. 2. Ozugwu, hips excellent really bends when he beats Tackle, Ball get off YES PLEASE!! He is a much better ambassador using his Pro Football twitter than giving us a few grand. IMO.

I don't think he will. I could see TE's as a position you bring in a HS coach and let them coach with Littrell's guidance. The other position coaches on Offense are fine without him. I am excited to start hearing these names roll in.

I was under the impression if you are a donor in anyway you are not allowed to contact a recruit unless there was a previous relationship prior to an offer or interest.

He will be playing baseball somewhere. My guess is he leaves the conference. OU or UT would be ideal because of their baseball programs.

He was a Mesquite boy too. Lots of talent over there.

Haha Thats awesome! At my HS (before press box's were 5000 feet away) we had a tower. They had to climb up 3-4 stories. The visiting coaches "pressbox" was one level beneath where we filmed.

Wow. Crazy!! That will be good for him. It is hard to tell because of how close the film is due to the stands. Kid is Physically put together. Have him come to the UNT camp you never know what could happen.

IMO he looks like a defensive player if anything. Hard to tell though.

How about a compromise he can be a preferred walk-on :) then everyone is happy and their teammates and Nick is throwing BB's all over the field. I will agree that he has a cannon just chooses to not use it all the time.

I am willing to lay down and say D. Smith will look 100% different next season. I believe he is the QB and I am sticking to it. If I am wrong so be it, but all that talent he has no way Littrell doesn't at least give it his best go at getting him game ready. Littrell seems to have a ton of practice footage where the tempo is practiced signals practiced, defenses read THAT is what Smith needs not a bunch of fancy footwork drills. While those are important 3-5 minutes max and then get snaps. Live, game(ish) speed snaps. You can save my post and if I am wrong I will eat crow, but I just dont see a guy with his talent level not being able to help us.

I wasn't at the game, had to coach, but next time I make it I'll swing by.

Guys, he is going to be on the road far to much to be riding in an uncomfortable rig. Riding in an older 90's model Lexus I can attest to the comfort of them it's like riding on a cloud. Great choice I hope you land lots of solid recruits.

Cerebrus do it! I voted A, for two reasons. 1. Why not be optimistic what would it hurt? 2. So all you haters can tell me how awesome I am after I am proven right. This guy has done nothing but succeed every where and in every thing he has touched. Why would this be any different? Sure he will have some hiccups as a new HC. I feel he is overly prepared for this and will do fantastic!

I say its DEFINITELY worth a shot. Maybe plant some right outside his potential dorm room lol
