Yes his midrange shot in HS was good. Teams knew if you kept him off the glass, and made him put the ball on the floor you had a good chance of minimizing his production. FT shooting for him is mental because like you said he does have a good mid range game.

That is what I am told. The last I heard, about a week ago was that Littrell wanted his offense installed and put in then give it over to Harrell after a few years and let him add his wrinkles. If I am Littrell I am not letting anyone call plays. His career is more or less on the line with this job. Sure he has proven he can be an excellent play caller but now, it is a matter of being a HC. One way that you prove that is winning. Just my two cents and what I have been told.

Actually it wasn't Combs is the exception; could not shoot the ball great out of HS but was one of the top athletes around. Excellent pick up and the points and boards were absolutely necessary. However, this team is incredibly under coached and under performs. Meh, the bball team is not good and it is a direct reflection of the head coach.

Who cares what Sam Houston State grads see us as? Thats like saying TCU has an uphill fight because some North Texas Grad thinks we could be the next TCU. We have all pieces in place to explode. Everywhere this guy has been the offense has blown up. Add a few scores in this year and keep the defense off the field who knows maybe there are 2-3 more wins. Winning creates attitudes that can help one beat a team they have no business beating. If you want to hate thats fine. Don't try to justify it to me. Offenses that score points keep defenses motivated to go out and play hard and make plays.

Littrell's offense seemed to have a much easier time competing vs the same defense, who wasn't missing their best DL the whole game. Just saying.

ESPN lists a 5.1 40 but his tape at least defensively to me didn't show 5.1 speed. I'll take a 6'2 240 lb DE if he can keep getting after people like he did in the video.
