Not to burst your bubble, but most coaching staffs come up with their slogans and fancy stuff like this then push it to GA's to get it done. Just fyi, they may get some help from very low people in the AD but that is mostly writing notes to recruits etc. Just saying.

I am not really sure what throws you are talking about, he has a few early where he is on the move going away from the LOS and still drills the ball in on a comeback route and a deep out. Pretty impressive throws. He gets rid of the ball quick. He definitely needs some work but these are the kind of guys you look heavily at. We aren't going to bring in a ready right now QB early on. That is fine but absolutely nothing about this kids game makes me think he wouldn't be successful here. If Tulsa offered (Montgomery had to stamp it) then I would be willing to bet the kid can play QB at this level. He is a great evaluator of QB talent.

It is like the conversation I had last night with a coaching buddy, (for now) UNT is not landing any 4 star recruits as the program is so why not take a chance on 3-4 per year and if 1 pans out thats 1 more 4 star player than we would have had. If all of them pan out look out!

2 out of 32 NFL teams have been successful with one not saying it is impossible but very difficult for sure.

He hasn't done enough to be retained past his contract and will probably get the boot this year. I appreciate the nice words. Good to hear from a SMU fan who understands things a little bit.
