You sir are becoming delusional. The speed of a game you play at vs the speed of game these guys play at is like Jr. high vs Varsity. We didn't recruit well enough to be competitive, in year 4. We have no pure shooters... Not even deckie, he's streaky at best.

Pretty simple, they recruit kids who don't take 3 years to develop a jump shot. They can already shoot. They stay in the program, and don't get run off after 1-2 seasons.

I hate to do this on a day when our ladies fought so hard to come back and win. However, why in the heck can our Athletic Department NOT get simple stuff right. Human error, bla bla bla bla bla, QUIT SCREWING UP. During the game they are making an announcement to honor our women's NCAA team from 30 years ago next Saturday January 30th vs Rice. Here is the graphic that they plastered on the JumboTron during that minute and a half invite.

Hm the interesting thing about that is from my graduating class alone (Liberty Christian '07) we had between 5-6 kids who either started or finished at UNT and saw nothing wrong with it. Lundblade walked on at OSU bc he wanted to prove he could play at that level of D1 football. Horton didn't work out because he stayed hurt, and as for the Southlake "kid" who would be so gaudy to think that having a degree hanging on his wall from any institution would be something bad is laughable.

If he were to tell a staff that they would pack up and keep moving. No way a recruit with no offers says I'll go to your school as long as school XYZ doesnt offer then im out. That is a sure fire way to not receive an offer in the first place. He has accepted a preferred walk-on offer from OSU. Doubt they go from preferred walk-on to offer in two months. They have seen enough of him on film they wanted him they would offer by now.

Mark, not sure if you know who runs the MGC twitter or not but the picture the Athletic Department sent out misspelled Ekeler's name... spelled it Eleker then the MG club twitter acct posted it. Might be good to take it down and correct it.. sigh. This was one of those things when we talked that I have such a hard time with. Thanks for helping and GMG

yes. I have heard Starkel is pretty much a lock for a$m also. At this point it boils down to us and them and not to down our program but most kids right now chose them over us any day of the week.

Agreed, his throws vs Lonestar were pretty off because of his knee/leg injury I don't think that defines his throwing ability.

He got banged up pretty bad in their playoff run and was barely able to walk after losing to lonestar. Kid plays with tremendous heart!

Can we send him out unsolicited and have him reign in all DFW recruits and make us the new U... ok I will quit with that crazy talk but seriously Everytime I see a Bryce English tweet its a good one about the University or tweeting fellow recruits!

How will he keep an extra year and a half? Is it the new transfer rule where you have to sit but they tack on a year at the end? If a kid was real smart they could transfer lose a year but get a degree and a masters lol
