I hate the way we line up to 5 wides.... spin down to the trips side, and have a safety 8x2 to the weak side of the field.... we widen the weak side LB and usually give up big runs if the QB can break contain. or DT's dont get a good push.

Im at The Colony in DFW lol and we wont be 6a for awhile, if we do go 6a I doubt you have to worry about ever seeing us. I guess we aren't too far away from being able to see if Smith can make the necessary adjustments or not. I just think he's got to much extra he can bring to the game (If the other areas are fixed). He made some of the most impressive throws I have ever seen last year, in those WKU highlights around 2:40 mark he is rolling to his left and throws against his body and momentum and throws a bullet on a 12 yard out.... NOT easy, however He will follow it up by a crappy dump pass, or slant that he throws into the dirt because he is throwing off his front foot. I do think Littrell and Harrell can get him fixed. I really do believe that, if I am wrong so be it, but I am sure Littrell came in and saw him and went uhhh how in the Hell do you lose that many games with this guy as your QB? Here is to hoping I am right.

We run 4-2-5 but get ends in wide 9's and scream off the edge. Interesting way to run it and been pretty successful (barring last year when we didn't have the joe's to get it done) We spin down outside of #2 with butt to the sideline. Prevents the bubbles and fast concepts (jails, tunnels, etc.) and allows our 2 high safeties plenty of time to read the Tackle who has to pass set in a hurry because of our DE width and rush. I was pretty suspect at first but once I saw it live I was really impressed. We have to have stud LB's because our DE's are flat down the line full speed, so when we see ZR the LB's are scraping over the top for the pull. If the OT's block down our safeties are coming down hill in a hurry!

That was what a week ago? How do you know it has or hasn't been handled? I never said I wanted their dirty laundry aired, I just want people to be held accountable. By all intents and purposes Kidsy was held accountable according to the source of info we have now. Should he have worked out with the team, no? Did RV screw up? Probably.

One graduated and the other is no longer on the roster. Maybe Littrell doesn't handle punishment in public? He does talk about having trust between his players and him. Could it be that his policy to players is I won't talk about your stuff if there is off the field issues and we will handle it within the team?? Just saying.

I am talking about running some power read stuff having the WRs run Fade's and the slots can run any combinations of routes to hold the LB's or safeties. He has strengths. Does he have a ton of work to do? Sure, but he has things he can work on for sure.

Littrell will Tailor our game plan to fit his strengths IF he does beat Morriss!
