After the coaches clinic last night Littrell is running this offense Graham is being groomed to run an offense.
-
Only been to a few and never other colleges, I plan on going to SMU clinic to compare.

Clinics yes, but nothing even close to this. These guys were on boards all across the club level broken down by position just talking x's and o's with coaches on what they do in situations it was really really cool. Littrell talked about Power read, inside zone, midline zones and how he knows what he wants to run in each and where he teaches to key. I would be willing to bet we see alot of trips and some TE trips (Littrell did mention TE trips quite a bit) it was a very cool experience. Coach Wager from Arlington Martin was in the group where Littrell was talking on the board and man did he have some HIGH praise for Littrell and his staff. Everyone of those guys is down to earth looking for football players they dont care how big or how small. They are very realistic on guys UNT can legitimately get, while knowing they want some guys who are tough shots. Defensively I can see us being in a TON of odd front looks, where we walk OLB down and it turns into a 4 man front. Reffett talked at length about being at Memphis and giving teams fits with undersized guys all over the field by having DL move and slant and keeping OL off balance. He talked about it not making sense to line up a 270 LB DT in a 3 technique and letting a 310 LB OL know right where he is and where he is going to be. I really really enjoyed it and gained some valuable coaching knowledge, as well as got to know the coaches. Sounds like we will have Air Raid stuff, or heavy run Littrell will truly tailor his offense to whatever we have.

Marcus was presenting offense while Wylie staff presented Defense. Then UNT offense and defense presented and breakout sessions happened where position coaches got on a board and just talked ball. It was an incredible experience with 250+ HS coaches from as far as Midloathian in attendance.

I want to brag on Nic Summerfield real quick. I messaged him on twitter last night at 9 pm to check on the coaches clinic they are putting on tonight. He messaged me back within 5 minutes and answered all questions and even commented on being an alum and glad I was coming back. Really good for the university and a nice experience. Marcus HS staff and UNT are putting on offensive and defensive clinics from 7-9

Good info, I hadnt had time to look yet today. So it appears it is us, smu, and new mexico. I like our chances. This kid really can make every throw.
-
I was doing some digging among coaches, his offer from Clemson was Morris led, once Morris left for SMU that offer could be off the table.
-
Shelley may be a reach. Clemson offered as a sophomore. SMU came in and offered late last year. Believe. This kid has a laser cannon. His big knock is he uses the same move to escape pressure and according to one of my coaching buddies, didn't think he had the juice (what we refer to as the burst players have) to be big time d1. Clemson thought otherwise and good for the kid. I really hope he comes to North Texas. Coaching against him the last two years was a nightmare. He is patient and will beat you with his arm or legs depending on what you do.

Yes sure he will I was trying to be modest I could see him being 32-36. How about Anthony Hines? That offer sheet is RIDICULOUS -
I was saying the pitch was our diversity not that it wouldn't happen that would be an asinine statement.
-
Never compared the two, just stated SMU paying the big $ worked out.
-
SMU paying big $, and 600 K a year for an assistant and it's working (minus this years postseason ban) lol

So, I will attach a story where students from a school in Dallas get harrassed at ATM during a tour. Look at the percentage of African American students on each campus. I would sell this all day everyday to the African American student athletes I recruited. http://thescoopblog.dallasnews.com/2016/02/am-university-investigating-reports-of-racial-slurs-targeting-dallas-high-school-students-during-campus-visit.html/ Look at that graphic and convince me that outside the athletic side of these universities, that an African American student body population exists. Combine UT, ATM, and SMU and you equal UNTs percentage. Add UNT Dallas to that mix, and we are 6% behind all D1 schools combined who field football teams in the state. Excludes southern and Prarie view A&m historically African American colleges. What do y'all think? Keep it civil!

1,213 posts. 377 negatives. Batting a great percentage for baseball, if strikes were good. Yikes. -.310

Scott Cross was one and never got an interview. Sad. Bet a million or so dollar contract says otherwise
-
Littrell did that and got bashed on here. Used Quinn, used old footage used Cobbs, used the goal posts being torn down and got murdered. Everyone please watch and remember where we used to be and the greatness this program was, now look what Benford has done. SMH Welcome to coaching lol great ones make you look silly and good all at the same time

Watched this kid play basketball. If he moves like he does on the hoops court on the football field, he will probably exceed 20 offers. -
I like pursuing cedar hill and desoto kids!! We offered 3 desoto kids today

Position Group Rankings Part 2 - Wide Receivers
GMG24 replied to BillySee58's topic in Mean Green Football
If Dillman is too stiff to play on the OL or DE then he sure doesn't need to play WR. I think Dillman can do whatever the coaches ask of him. Kid is a heck of an athlete who should be able to help us somewhere. -
Why? Because a man has concerns about good money he is investing/spending? He wants to know why someone who is paid so handsomely to run an athletic department (the whole thing) not just the pieces he has that are successful hasn't been held accountable for EXTREMELY SUB PAR RESULTS in every major sport? Yes it should be a lively discussion because I would have the same concerns if I paid what you all have to pay for club seat, suits whatever. Has he been part of some good successes for our University? Sure. To me the results in those 3 sports far outweighs the fundraising and new facilities he has been part of.
