I think our new OL coach is to thank for that. He really gives it to Murray in practice making each step be perfect before moving to the next rep. They know how huge he will be for the program.

Also an excellent program that produces big $ donors if they come back. -
Marketers respond to System chancellor’s remarks on university ads

Being a Teacher/Coach I do think continuing to target that group of our student population is important however, I think there are better ways to improve overall vision of the university. Promoting the business school seems to be most logical choice, but I don't know much about that school. -
We have had 9 or so name changes in school history, but you would think our higher ups would do everything they could to get that ntsu deal squashed and promote our actual name.

We were first. Kid will probably end up with 12-20 offers. -
DRC: UNT looking for return men heading into scrimmage

Wedge is now illegal and can only have a 2 man team that can not link up to form a "wedge" however, I would be willing to be anyone who has any wiggle at all along with break away speed will be given a long look by the new staff. I really think Littrell doesn't care how big they are as long as they can make plays. Edit: I think he was getting reps with 2's during a Periscope video I saw unless I am mistaken. -
Hollis decided to re-classify and go to API this upcoming school year.

Scrimmage Starts at 10am Saturday April 2 - open to the public
GMG24 replied to MeanGreen_MBA's topic in Mean Green Football
I'm waiting for spring game. I'm only 25$ donor level, yet I haven't got a single call, only the MGC generic email. Let's see 25 bucks times 10,000 people is 250,000$ small donors don't matter though. -
**Update on public access to UNT Spring FB Practice**

I got an email (being a coach) saying the scrimmage would start at 10 am. -
I voted Marshall. For one simple reason they have won and won a LOT recently I think it is leaps and bounds the best CUSA job especially if I got to pick.

warm up starts around 9:40 practices start at 10 am

That stinks..

Cedric Fernandes on defense and Kevin Dillman on offense.

Great story, very moving.

So, are you allowed to be closer the higher donation level you are as a MGC member? If so I'm better off watching from Periscope ;-) -
In evaluation, Smatresk gets good marks from Jackson

Pardon my ignorance but how exactly does that happen? -

This is so damn frustrating. It's pretty simple kids associate a "Good school" with winning athletics. -
If you're right and I'm sure you are. Then I'm much less optimistic

I did hear from a coaching friend they were under the impression he had 1 1/2 seasons left. Otherwise he could have just gone pro this year. It was my understanding he never used a redshirt, so this spring semester and fall next year he is using his "redshirt" thus having the '17 spring semester (next year) and the following year since he redshirted through the transfer process.
-
He actually gets 1 1/2 seasons... Just a half year with Reese as his PG.. BUT he also gets Ryan Woolridge the second half, who I am a very big fan of. I do like the top 7 on this team ALOT. Their coach on the other hand I am no fan of. I think this team and the pieces coming in could have enticed Travis Ford greatly. Looks like OSU just stole Underwood from SFA. $$$ talks

DRC: New UNT coaches excited to see what they have on defense
GMG24 replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
I agree except I think our coaches are trying to figure out a way to disguise that 4 man front by bringing pressure from different parts of the field and keeping the OL and OC from the other team guessing. Just my guess from watching Georgia, and Memphis last year. -

I don't think we will be traditional in the sense of a 310 lb stop gap hold your man and play 2 gap defense. I think we will line up head up and slant every time, knowing full well we can't out muscle them so we need to confuse them and make them think instead of plowing straight ahead and mashing us. -
Strongly disagree. Most of Mac's no offer guys were the prototypical D1 size kids who didn't have other offers. I also don't recall any of Mac's 0 offer recruits being the only 2 time Gatorade POY in the state of Oklahoma (who has pumped out some pretty good football players over the years).

I believe we will be a 3 man front and walk up into a 4 man front if we need to vs certain run situations.
