  1. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3213338/highlights/310832375 http://247sports.com/Player/Marcus-Mays-83240 Sorry forgot to post links to recruitment pages. I don't think that list is updated. I am fixing to be on my conference and will look then.
  2. He is up to 9 offers, latest being from Purdue
  3. He is a very nice player. Saw him awhile back in a scouting trip. Was watching other team, yet he stood out several times in the game.
  4. Big Gulps huh? Welp see ya later. lol good find.
  5. I don't think La Tech was in the picture, his little brother tweeted that picture of La Tech
  6. Excellent. Thanks for the info.
  7. Brother is a JC Offensive Lineman at Tyler I believe.
  8. Where did you see the commit? I checked his twitter and it didn't have anything about a commit? Interesting we have been going after alot of the same kids as them, Tx St, UTSA, SMU and Houston. Going to have to win some recruiting battles at some point. Not saying we were still in on this kid just a food for thought.
  9. Still there, still the OC
  10. grades probably. He had 7-8 offers this year http://247sports.com/Recruitment/Bentley-Easley-89219/RecruitInterests
  11. He favorited my tweet last night about playing at UNT lol that counts for something right?
  12. That is also a valid point, maybe why Ekeler is waiting a few weeks to fly up?
  13. Any idea who won't be making it to campus?
  14. F Ing A Cotton, someone has to buy this beaut!!
  15. I'd be betting on the latter, rather than the former.
  16. Not to burst the bubble here but Littrell (or whoever is running his twitter) and the other coaches must be more active. If you look at our staff vs SMU, Houston, UTSA, TxState we are still struggling a bit. Granted we are active during certain times and thats much better than in the past but I am on twitter often and see more stuff from them being retweeted by coaches I follow. SMU actually tweets out where they are heading (regions of the state) as they can't say directly where they go. Anyway, I do appreciate the increased presence on twitter, but we must step our game up even more with graphics and tweets of the like. I promise prospects notice that stuff.
  17. We are the first offer but there are a lot of schools interested. He was the District MVP this year, and an All State selection. He also plays DB but I am almost positive this offer is at WR. hudl.com/athlete/665985…
  18. No reported offer, but typically when JUCO frenzy posts a "target" there is an offer or will be one soon. Looks like he would be here in the fall if he came. Looking for more info, will check back later. It looks like grades must have been a factor as he is still available with all those offers. http://247sports.com/player/bentley-easley-85919 I have attached his 247 profile that was from this year.
  19. No we rolled 7-8 guys through reps in spring ball. We will be a 3-3 stack defense this year and walk an OLB down or come up the middle with a blitz to bring 4 almost every down unless its 3rd and a mile or 2nd and a mile.
  20. Theoretically yes, but we also lined up in a single technique on the DL last year and didn't move or blitz. We are going to be slanting and blitzing just about every down this year it seems. That should keep the OL off the LB's for just a half second longer which is usually all they need. In previous seasons we would line up and let the opposing OL know exactly where everyone was and didn't move. This year they'll be guessing particularly off our alignment. What are your thoughts?
  21. Probably don't need to take a chance on a JUCO guy who they didnt know if he'd be there in the fall would be my guess.
  22. He visited North Texas it certainly is an option
