That is fine and all, but at some point you have to out recruit other schools for good players. There are 2-3 kids there who are UNT level caliber. The coach lets scouts introduce themselves and their school each practice. This practice in particular is their big night practice. How hard is it to have one coach out? TCU sent Sonnie Cumbie. There were all levels of coaches their too from P5 to Ivy League, CUSA, AAC, and some D2. I'm not saying you gotta throw all your eggs in the desoto, Allen, coppell, trinity baskets. But these DFW schools should be touched once a week, and on social media (which is honestly my biggest issue with this staff).

That is the AD's job? -
I must have lost track of my threads didn't mean to put it in this one.

Look guys, I have a buddy at Allen HS. New coach has college coaches say who they are and where they're from every practice. Guess how many north Texas has been at. ZERO. I'm losing faith in this staff due to social media and recruiting in state.

You can click on these coaches individual twitters and see what I am talking about. They are really hitting social media hard, it is smart and FREE which should be the biggest asset to a G5 program. Morris has really done a good job of connecting with HS coaches and making them feel good about sending kids to SMU. I know this isn't the place for this post, just responding to a request.

Yes, when I get a minute today I will post what SMU coaches and Houston coaches are doing on social media (two of the best IMO) then I will show what our coaches have done. It is pretty pathetic. edit: Not going to post our coaches tweets because there aren't many

Don't be picky just take as many really good players as you can and make people adapt to your style if you have to.

Crystal ball forgot to take into account ole miss paying players off to commit. See exhibit 1, Mr. Tunsil.

Should need 1.5 to 2 seconds as the WR should be even or behind the corner at that time easy read, throw it up or check it to your mesh routes. Look for Littrell and co., to stretch field horizontally ( make LB and DL run side to side) as well as vertically. This staff will be looking for weaknesses in the opposing defensive alignment and check to something that gives them best chance for success Run or Pass. Based off coaching clinics they don't care which it is as long as it's the best play. They won't run it to run it and vice versa.

I am working to figure out who has what areas for recruiting.

Weak sauce. Kids transfer. I transferred twice before landing at UNT. Do I want kids leaving? Absolutely not, however I will respect their decision and not drag their name through the dirt. It was obviously not meant to be. Let me ask you this. Would you rather have sir Calvin here halfway committed to being here and on board with this staff, or another kid who is excited and willing to do what new staff asks?

6'5" 305 lbs plays OT. Holds offers from Arkansas State, UNT, and Prairie View A&M He is scheduled to be a December graduate. At one point he was committed to SMU in HS. He had a lot of interest but no one was pulling the trigger for whatever reason (quick search he was offered by Jones staff and decided to re-open his recruitment). He was a 3 star grade on espn out of HS. https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/maple/144082?colleges=show http://sportsday.dallasnews.com/college-sports/collegesheadlines/2015/01/12/three-star-ol-marvis-brown-backs-out-of-pledge-to-smu

http://www.hudl.com/athlete/4321091/highlights/572bae4224180d2dd4e38f04 This kid has some serious game. His highlight tape really jumps off the screen at you. He has FS down on his twitter but based off this tape I would think this offer is as a WR.
