Big time 2018 kid. Already holds OSU, Tech, Houston, and his first offer was SMU. He will probably be a 12-18 offer kid. http://247sports.com/Player/Tanner-Mordecai-91436 http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3310101/tanner-mordecai

I am starting to really worry about all these JUCOs and who is going to make it to campus. Ekeler out doing his thing though. -
Kid is blowing up. We were his 2nd offer in 2 hours he ended up getting a third later in the day. Received offers from PVA&M, Tx Southern, and UNT in one day. Day before he got SFA and New Mexico. All schools we should out recruit. 6' 4 1/2" 275 lbs looks like our OL coach is hitting Houston area pretty hard. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3364968/chris-paul

It is one of the things kids use the most, it has no restrictions other than directly mentioning kids by name. Why NOT use it? -
I loved it, I had my computer hooked up to my TV and it was the same as watching on a regular network.

Ill take his sub 11 second and some good coaching by the WR's coaches on route and technique. This is an easy one for me. BTW don't drink beer only vodka and whiskey. I know take away my man card. You can give my beer to @MeanGreenTexan

A TE offer from us is equivalent to an Hback which we will use. Think of them as much more versatile Fullbacks.

I didn't say a single thing about Allen. They may be on the phone or in schools thats fine, but you can send a tweet out about where you are or what area you are recruiting in 30 seconds. It is just a way to continue to establish your brand as a University and a Football Program. I am not saying spend every waking second on it, but the kids in this generation do. The more they see it the better off you are of them knowing about your program. I don't get why you think Stealth recruiting is going to do anything. There is no such thing in this day and age with camps in dang near every city ( or within driving distance ) in almost every state in the south. If a kid is good he will be seen and it will get out. -
Bussey knows every route we run. It's the same offense, maybe a little more vanilla (what he ran in HS). I think both will contribute next year as well as the Martin Duo.

For instance, I also follow Tx State, UTSA, SMU, UH coaches just to compare how we do to them. Each of their HC's have tweeted 50-100 times from the last time the Littrell account tweeted. Most of these staffs have cool graphics they tweet out about where coaches will be and recruiting what areas. SMU does a video version where they video each coach as they're on the road. When I get a bit of free time I will put a thread in the Football forum as I hate to take a recruits thread away by negative stuff. I know these men are out there grinding and working hard to make our team better. I just would like the reassurance that its happening by seeing stuff on social media. If you'd like I can link all our coaches pages and each of the other staff's coaches then you can kind of see what I am talking about. Seth Littrell's account tweeted on April 25th the next tweet wasn't until May 16th. In this day and age that is absolutely unacceptable. I will count Morris' just for giggles. Morris tweeted or retweeted 49 times between those dates. All free exposure for his program and University. It is not a huge deal, it is just free recruiting (another way for a kid to see our school and make them think) -
http://www.hudl.com/athlete/4598894/highlights/ This kid is electric. He has some really good closing speed and makes excellent breaks on the ball.

Yes, I meant to put a stipulation on it. A majority of the kids we are offering are against schools we should be able to compete with recruiting wise. However, these kids may have a P5 offer but if they have yet to commit it is likely that offer was pulled. The only real problem I have with this staff is the social media presence or lack thereof. Everything else we are doing I am on board with. -
not even close, this is a chance you take with JUCO's. I personally wish we had more HS kids.

I don't think I'd assume that. We did offer 3-4 16 guys probably waiting for first one to commit? The scholarship situation here is a real nightmare to keep track of what we actually have vs what we think we have. Thanks Dan.

This is simply an attempt to get the best 5 guys to protect a QB my man. If you can't score you can't win. Defense will be fine schematically. If our QB goes down we in trouble.

MGB: Re-ranking UNT's football roster post-spring

IMO he's a year away from helping us. Pass blocking is very technical.
