Kind of weird they were rolling around as 16 and 18 year olds with a 24 year old.

I was shocked when I saw a Juco DT we were pursuing a while back was still posting he was getting offers latest was UMASS. Weird he was a big ole kid too.

I had a hard time finding any information to verify that claim. I believe Vito but usually it isn't that hard to verify offers and such online.

I was really hoping we could somehow convince him to stay home, kids like him IMO will look at us more seriously if we can win AND have more recent pictures with our stadium sold out and crowds going nuts.

He messaged me last night and said he'll be here in the fall as a JR and he'll be on scholarship.

I hope everyone realizes this kid had OPTIONS, academies or not D1 schools looked at him and decided he could play. These are the kind of kids you win recruiting battles for later because you have them on campus and they can sell your school to the more highly touted players who may have 10-12 offers. Until we start winning these are guys IMO you have to bring in.

I am starting to really worry about all these JUCOs and who is going to make it to campus. Ekeler out doing his thing though.

Kid is blowing up. We were his 2nd offer in 2 hours he ended up getting a third later in the day. Received offers from PVA&M, Tx Southern, and UNT in one day. Day before he got SFA and New Mexico.
