Just basing it off all the other surprises we've had so far
-
Lived in Denton my entire life, born in 88. Been to many Unt games, football and bball. McCarney was my first experience of coming in as a new coach. I saw the dodge hire and liked it until I saw the staff and knew it would never work. I got to Unt campus in 2009. Graduated in 2013. I was coaching while McCarney was here and heard him at coaches conventions, most coaches felt like he was a glorified cheerleader screaming from mountain tops. Ask any TXHSFB coach about Littrell and UNT staff, light years ahead of previous staff with exception of a few one of whom is still here in Coach Perry! I am VERY glad we kept him. I definitely understand people's wanting to wait and see approach, I am just coming from a coaches perspective (usually pretty easy to see a BSer) especially now that I'm in year 8 of coaching and year 4 of teaching and coaching. For what it's worth, a lot of coaches are impressed with UTSA staff as well.

MGB: UNT consultant: “We have a fan base that is fractured”

I would in a heart beat. -
I think what he was saying here is lost in translation since you weren't there. He has been asked by lots of his coaching buddies "Why North Texas?" To which he replies to them why not? He believes in this place, this state and the coaches and athletes in it. He is a ball coach who eats sleeps and breathes football. He is going to be a really good HC. I just pray we can keep him around long enough to make him our own Gary Patterson. This guy is big time!

Yes my voice was definitely heard. Trip took several notes when I spoke. Coach Littrell looked me directly in the eyes when I asked about coaches and social media use and if any plan was in place to begin upping that. He replied with yes, we are working on staffing. You see at big schools they have 3-5 people in a department who do only social media, marketing etc.. He was the same Seth Littrell I tried to repeatedly talk about from our coaches convention. This man is a Ball coach!! I have a weird, good feeling about this year. If we can stay healthy I can see 5-6 wins between scheme and player motivation alone, then you continue to add TALENT to that and boom. Also he touched on Freshman and playing time, I did that for you @UNT90 ! He said best players will play, talked about ideally wanting to redshirt a freshman QB bc their is so much to learn, but he said the best 11 will play. This guy gets it.

So sorry, I had Bentley Easley in my head. Let me keep digging. I know he got in some trouble while at LSU

Looks like as I continue to watch it has a TON about Abner Haynes, and NTSU very very cool!

I know 40 times are fun and what not, but I like to see what they do on film. Can't time football speed and this kids got some of that! Check his highlights, several times he outruns kids who have excellent angles on him.

Please go watch this show!! About Denton High School and Integration from Fred Moore HS to Denton HS. Tons of former Mean Green greats who coached!

If you can out run 5 and 6 A East Tx athletes you've got some wheels.

Yeah, Y'all offered June 20th after we Clearly identified him first as a D1 player and your coaches missed. So take that! -
Jaylin Nelson, and Kishawn Kelley. I haven't seen Nelson play, but he's local and a fine athlete. He would not play QB here and maybe thats what they told him he could do there. Kelley on the other hand is a FREAK athlete. I've watched that kid play since he was a sophomore on Varsity making big time plays. He plays QB for his team, is more of a runner than a passer, but I think with Harrell and Company he'd be worth a shot for his redshirt freshman year to see if he has what it takes. If he did not pan out that first year then move him to outside WR and watch him tear teams up.

You've screamed from the rooftop for transparency. I am offering to help keep the hundreds of thousands of alumni in the state informed and several who have NO way possible to attend. I don't see why this being on Periscope would be a bad thing, if this is an honest civil forum. Maybe we have different view points but I just don't see why this could be seen as negative? -

No problem, I am not expert but working hard to get better at what I am seeing. I get the privilege of scouting Lake Dallas this year as we are in their district. I am interested to see how good the OL is as well as the Corner they have who is a stud. -

I'll be there! I bet we could get something done! Joe, I have a Periscope account and do not mind putting it on there. The only problem with Periscope is the sound. Again, I do NOT mind doing the Periscope for our fellow out of towners. @Harry anyway you could talk to Mr. Kuehne and ask if that would be permissible?
