You really think if he made a Conference championship regular season run, followed by a CUSA Tournament Title, Followed by the 4th EVER appearance in UNT history that he should be fired? I am NOT excusing the piss poor product he produced for 4 years, following the Taj Mahal of Mid Majors JJ created before LSU came and scooped him up. However, to say that making a run in the tournament unless its Sweet 16 deserves to be fired for would be on the crazy side. Seeing as how we have never won a single tournament game. Granted, in 2007 we lost by 15 to a Memphis squad who didn't lose until the Elite 8.

I strongly disagree, as we have several times. I think with the roster that is in place, you are looking at a team that could turn around as quick as Benford dropped us from JJ's last year to Benford's 2nd.

Has a TON of UNT alums and former players on it. I know for sure HC- J.D. Martinez OC- Derek Thompson probably OL Nic Summerfield just announced a day or two ago he was coaching up there. Just an FYI as these boys play in the Denton, Ryan, Braswell district. If you are bored on Friday Nights it would be fun to go support them. Unless they're playing The Colony and you better chose me over them. That is all.

That is a life struggle, I'm talking specifically related to facilities, travel, and food. Yes that is awful, and I am sure there are a lot of kids with stories similar. Get on Twitter and see how many kids are saying (JUCO kids) that the show you mentioned does not properly show the JUCO struggle/grind. That's all I'm saying.

That show does NOT show the struggle of JUCO kids that's one of the top JUCO facility wise etc in the country.

Yeah it was a TON. Too many IMO, but it was the last of the summer those are always packed. They had MOST position groups split into 4 groups so the reps were higher, and there was a ton of teaching going on. Just from my observation, and I'm biased I spent more time at QB/WR Harrell, Reffett, and Brown taught the most technique of any coach there. Now I didn't spend a ton of time around the other position groups but each one constantly had kids pulled aside and teaching 1 on 1 it was excellent. Made me happy to see.
