  1. look who retweeted that....
  2. On the two unofficials I went with my kids on there were guys receiving much more attention (commits) I would assume they were on officials but it was hard to tell because they had everyone leave the field at the same time during the end of warm ups. It was a fun experience.
  3. Deep green hit it, graduate and serve you're looking at officer salary from my information, then serve for a length Of time and you are really making "good money" depending on where/how you serve
  4. I have to believe someone with the $ Ernie does, that he is tired of this garbage product. Surely WB can sit him down show him 8-10 coaches he could bring in right away and improve our program. Something Ernie could again be proud of. If not, surely WB can find the donors in bball to match ernies giving if he packs up and leaves.
  5. Unfortunately, the $ they can offer post graduation is big.
  6. Fair enough.
  7. There's no denial from me, I agree he's an awful coach. I just wanted to point out the fact that he has assembled a solid team for the next coach to inherit. Much more so than McCarney left Littrell.
  8. Mis read the question, thought you were asking if it was the only early signing period. No he isn't only signee.
  9. I disagree whole heartedly. The team he has assembled is possibly one of the most highly ranked groups. Whatever he's doing in practices, philosophy or workouts, and in game strategy is what's getting him. Which I know makes him not a good coach. I believe we have 6-7 guys from Tx top 100 basketball players in their respective classes. I'll need to do some digging. The team is headlined by Frazier. http://www.espn.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/104886/keith-frazier Frazier (transfer) still have to recruit him.
  10. I think another important piece is he's a Mesquite/South Dallas kid, who can talk to other kids from same area about why UNT is great.
  11. Not true. I took several athletes on unofficials visits. They had to pay to park, walk across bridge, got access to all the gear got measured etc, then went on the field for pre-game and sat in the recruits sections. I am fairly certain Official Visits can't start until a certain point but I could be lying. A lot of the big official visit dates are much closer to signing day as everyone is making their big push to get everyone in.
  12. It's 108 with 14 commits and 1 of those being a signee...
  13. We could have a class in top 60 and you'd find a reason to complain.... it feels like.
  14. No doubt, but he won 4 more than the previous year. Progress and lots of it. Still a long way to go but on the right track. Time for some Crootin'
  15. Littrell won with Mac's failed kids who didn't particularly fit his system, so why couldn't he win if his classes "Failed"? He is recruiting some playmakers a la TCU when they started back in the day. Just get the athletes and find a spot.
  16. You'd hear about it soon If so. Coach bro at tech has 6 JUCO mid term guy and 7 HS kids that's crazy impressive
  17. This is my biggest concern.. years left and knee health (when he'll be ready to go) he's got the talent for sure.
  18. Man I'd love all 4 stars lol I'm also a realist and know the kids we can pull from HS.
  19. Probably QB because of running ability and their lack of throwing it.
  20. He was a fresh out of HS kid trying to become a man, who had a mic in front of his face. He probably got asked a question that lead him in the direction of this answer. It's ok. I am sure Littrell wouldn't have ok'd the offer if he still felt this was an issue. selfless tough discipline
  21. Good idea. If I can help let me know. Also the double threads and generic searches at the top. Just a few things that I've become more aware of now that I help with recruiting a bit more. Billy set me straight awhile back :)
