No I didn't I really just wanted to see how good Woolridge was at the College level, saw him play in HS and thought he'd be pretty special he confirmed what I thought. Also wanted to see the difference in Frazier from SMU to UNT.

Much Much more than just one stop, but you can definitely say that stop didn't help UNT's chances. What killed UNT was getting bullied on the boards, and constantly getting abused on the defensive end of the court by a fluid, well run offense. Same way Denver used to make us (far superior athletically speaking) look pretty silly defensively because they played basketball the right way. Not the one on one stuff Benford ball has these guys doing. One guy dribbles either gets a ball screen or just takes his man, 3 other guys spot up on perimeter and try to kick and shoot. If we were half the disciplined offense that San Diego was we would have won that game by 20 IMO. I do admit I left at half, I couldn't take much more. Maybe if I didn't show up we would have won. Anywho just my two cents and I LOVE basketball. During my time at UNT as a student I never missed a game, made the Tech game and the trip to OKC to watch the tournament game. FWIW I said some pretty similar stuff when JJ was here, he manufactured offense through sets but once you play teams who really put in the work on film you MUST have a motion offense where there is no way to know what you're going to do. That or you better be one of the best in the NCAA at Transition offense and beat everyone down the floor. Anyway glad the boys are still fighting, just upsetting we can't get more out of such a talented group.

This isn't a bad idea, but IMO that is part of the athletic department or someone in football ops Job. Herman hired 2 people at Houston who's sole job was graphics and design, I can guarantee we have no one specifically assigned that job. Probably 1/2 people have it in their job description and we wonder why we never see new stuff?? It's really a shame.

Best argument I've seen, that's fine seniors you can skip bowl games for draft prep but colleges should be able to play RS freshman in the bowl game without losing that redshirt year. Give the kid something to work towards, get the fans excited about the future, everyone wins IMO.

Our best lineup while I was there is PG Woolridge 2 Brown/Brown 3 Frazier 4 Holsten 5 Combs or Green Bryce is still entirely too soft for a 7 foot basketball player not named Nowitzki. He got the ball on the block early in the game took two dribbles and somehow ended up taking a freaking 10 foot baseline hook. He was going against a guy a head shorter than him and probably 50 pounds lighter. Muscle that man down and go up strong.

Bc they are running a real offense that has reads and you make cuts based off your defender being in a position, no matter where he is, he is wrong and you have something to counter it. I miss watching good basketball at UNT.

I left at half time... that san diego team was giving up like 75 a game and we had 25 at half! These guys run 0 offense, San Diego had inferior athletes and they made us look silly time and again because they RAN AN OFFENSE. Wow. First game back, sat in traffic for 45 minutes to watch that. No thanks on going back.

Really wish someone in our marketing dep., would get that Mac picture banished... deleted gone, so tired of seeing it on recruits pages after a UNT offer. Know why it's there? Bc our departments aren't putting new pictures out there aren't putting stuff that recruits can take and put as their pictures. Look at Tx state, UTSA, Tulane, etc etc you don't see their recruits tweeting pictures of previous head coaches. We don't lose bc of micromanagement on offense, we lose because we have NO offense, 1 on 1 and an occasional ball screen doesn't constitute offense. Embarrassing we barely beat an FCS school
