  1. Pretty sure we offered well before the Biagi hire
  2. He is a 5 star kicker!!! According to this kicking site. ESPN has him as a 3 star recruit.
  3. I would figure out a way to find when Wilson was tied with Lamar Jackson midway through the season for Rushing TD total
  4. Lol no worries at all, I just want to help UNT however I can.
  5. I put K/P because I assume we'd give him a look there. If his leg speed is as good as reported no reason not to. Yes I'm fine with it. Gotta be some blue shirt type kids on our radar @BTG_Fan1 that or grad transfers. Either way. You'll need someone for Moore after next season for FG ( I think)
  6. UTSA, once again kicking our teeth in. Ouch.

  8. Well I will not pretend to be a QB guru, I coach LB's but his motion is pretty long. Harrell should be able to tighten it up pretty easily. What I like most is how he gets his shoulders around quickly when scrambling or rolling out to get ready to throw. I also like that when the pocket gets pushed into his face he doesn't panic. He stands in there and delivers strikes. I don't think it's so long that he can't be successful with it, but if you're speaking in terms of ideal mechanics.
  9. Stats sure, but his film is phenominal. Drops dimes and has great zip. Isn't throwing to wide open WR on fades he's dropping it in there. He runs to throw which is really tough defensively because you have to honor him as a runner even though he really just wants to throw it.
  10. Maybe we could get some volunteer work from students in this program to increase our social media presence.
  11. Think we still have a shot at him just a matter of if we are taking anymore OL
  12. I agree we have to recruit more HS kids with more offers, until we win those battles I look at the kids we offered with little to no offers and their production. Proof is in that pudding as far as the "Non-recruited, under recruited kids" we signed from last class. You can bring me up into the club level for a game next year when Raveon is playing :) lol
  13. Similar to Auburn with 20 personnel, still spread but not the same as Baylor.
  14. Most East TX kids seem to love Louisiana as it seems to fit them better. Do you find that to be true?
  15. You are kidding me right? 4A- D1 produces elite college football players year in and year out. Yes sir, wasn't me but I was asked what I thought about the kid.
  16. We do need to continue to work, but we did beat West Virginia out for Guyton. We beat plenty of schools out for English when he transferred. It appears this staff can definitely recruit, now we need to see it make its way into the HS ranks. Hell we fended off an ALABAMA offer, yes I know he hasnt played a down for us but the fact that we beat Bama out is a miracle. Yes I am concerned, but when I look back to last class I see guys like Wilson who IMO is one of the best receivers we've brought in, in a long time. Dude had no offers. Fine performed admirably for a true freshman QB, again no offers. Ham-bone, yes I would love to have more highly regarded players and have the top ranked class absolutely. But after looking at last years class and the contributors we brought in with no offers or very few offers I am ok with it. The staff has gained my trust to let them evaluate and make those decisions. I realize others don't feel the same way, but that is my justification for not panicking.
  17. I'm still on the last class... and I'm always concerned about classes......
  18. Wouldn't be so sure... one of our own sent him UNTs way.

DE - Joseph Ozougwu (6-3, 230) Houston, Texas GS from previous staff 5). DT - Bryce English - (5-11, 295) DeSoto, Texas RS TRANSFER6). QB - Alec Morris - (6-3, 233) Allen, Texas7). WR - Rico Bussey - (6-2, 175) Lawton, Oklahoma 8). DB - Khairi Muhammad - (5-9, 170) DeSoto, Texas 9). DB - Dee Baulkman - (5-10, 200) Yuma, Arizona10). WR - Tyler Wilson - (5-10, 170) Arlington, Texas 16). DB - Jameel Moore - (5-10, 170) Cedar Hill, Texas 17). LB - Ejiya Ejodamen - (6-3, 235) Minneapolis, Minnesota 18). OL - Cody Hayes - (6-5, 305) Fort Worth, Texas 19). LB - La'Darius Hamilton - (6-3, 245) Corrigan, Texas Aside from Hayes Turner and Johnson who didn't make it to campus please do tell who the staff totally Wiffed on? They then added Jenkins, Wyche, Holston (still has a shot at being eligible was taking classes this year to qualify) Jalen Thomas and Quenitin Jackson They took shots to win now, I can't fault them for that. Seems they've learned their lesson and went after mid term JUCO guys they knew would be on campus and are focusing on HS ranks. I would imagine a grad transfer or two is still possible if its at a position of need. If you think I have any desire other than Championships and to move up in the college football world you haven't had enough conversations with me. We have a LONG way to go. If you want to win now you best be ready to take sanctions ala SMU. If you want to build it right it may take a few years to win and build the belief that what you're doing works. Are there areas our recruiting needs to improve absolutely.
  20. Mis worded, speaking in terms of the class overall.
  21. http://www.hudl.com/profile/4135761/nick-gerber Dude has some serious SWAG.
  22. Think it has been a hodge podge of postings of guys at different times. Mostly committed kids, and a few highly targeted kids.
  23. They're a Pac 12 (or however many there are now) team. We should not beat them for recruits and if we do we should be VERY happy. Kansas is still a big 12 school even if a bottom feeder. Should we be able to get a kid or two that Kansas wants? Probably. But I would not in anyway say losing a kid to a Colorado type program is an issue. Weren't they ranked several times this season?
  24. Recruiting isn't some super secret business that other schools don't know about. His current school he is committed to either knows and approved, or he's going behind their back and making OV which won't bode well for the young man if they find out. 99% sure his coaches know he's on a visit..
