  1. I do, hopefully they're banged up and bruised up heading into Apogee. ?
  2. All about Culture. Look no further than Scott Cross at UTA. #takethestairs
  3. I really think you'll see this until we get our number of scholarship players up to close to 85 before we see this process stopped.
  4. Interesting... Any idea how many seats? I like our idea of Free and get as many people there as possible, but there way is a good idea to "Drive" interest through building season ticket base.
  5. FWIW Only way to get in this event is with Season Ticket purchase.
  6. I agree, My hope is that most of them can redshirt thus getting us a full five years of depth from them, one or two for Practice and 3 years of play. I love the kids tape who we have blueshirted for sure. I am not knocking staff's evaluation in anyway, just a tad concerned about future class signings. Maybe they are looking at getting to 85 as fast as possible then in 2-3 years take one small class after they've won and can "go get" better recruits. That last part is pure speculation on my part.
  7. I know they're HS kids and they still get 5/4 but their scholarship counts toward the next class, unless they redshirt you're going to lose scholarships down the road with smaller classes. I get that he has to remake the roster just to get us to a decent number of ship players, just wondering if anyone else is concerned with the #? I think we are at 4/5 blueshirts by my count.
  8. http://247sports.com/Recruitment/Anthony-Smith-95461/RecruitInterests This kid just decomited from UTSA.
  9. Only Friday, the team I see always part of the recruiting pitch. Kids get paired up with a current player. I can guarantee you Bryce will be selling UNT hard to anyone who comes to campus. He seems like another Orr, Robertson type ambassadors for our University.
  10. Nope freak football play took him out with a shoulder injury from what I was told. Got to speak with his wonderful family at a game, and they as well as Connor are ready for him to hit the field. Apparently he was pretty jacked up about moving to RB once he was over initial disappointment of move from QB to RB. I don't know if anyone remembers the LONG runs he would have during spring ball. I believe he'll be just fine. Hope he proves me right. Also in another note, Dillman tweeted this.
  11. Yessir. Also I am telling y'all don't discount Connor Means. He'll be a downhill in your face back. I'm intrigued by him.
  12. Wilson has another year. If he stays healthy he'll have a hell of a season, Smith will be the number 2 back that dude can go.
  13. I'm speaking in terms of guys that will contribute IMO, I hope Wyche comes around but he didn't look great all year to me.
  14. Better go find you some running backs. You got Wilson, Tucker, and Nic Smith
  15. Similar(ish) to Tyreke Davis on his tape. Makes alot of really good plays on both sides of the ball.
  16. That's what I played and coached against.
  17. I swear we offered him earlier.... weird. This cat can go!! Their QB is who I was thinking of he could go too. Glad we offered this kid... he made Allen defense look bad several times. Played both ways the entire game and never look fazed. Dude is a freak!
  18. Eh, with all the camps etc that are around now I think they get plenty of evaluation. Maybe game tape you could argue would be hard to evaluate, but even then if a kid is D1 you can tell in the way he moves, cuts, gets in and out of breaks etc. I also played in TAPPS played with a few D1 guys and against more. Thanks Bishop Dunne, Nolan Catholic, and Midland Christian lol
  19. Tapps argument not a good one, plenty of solid D1 talent there.
  20. Not sure why that applies here, but I agree.
  21. If no one else helps, I'm going over spring break.
  22. ....
  23. He doesn't get blocked often. When will we get the player adoption thread? If no one has adopted him I want the HoneyBear!
