A friend of mine from the future brought me this video. It is actual footage of me driving to the game this Saturday.

I've left a few games early because I had someplace to be or was getting terribly sunburned, but have only given up and left early twice. The first time was in the mid 90's against Oregon State. The second was last night. It is me, I am the reverse jinx. You're all welcome. Last night was mostly a math error on my part. I though that even if they just took a knee we would receive the punt with maybe 25 or 30 seconds remaining. I didn't want to run out of beer too early so I drank some of my wife's wine before the game. I blame that.

ESPN College Gameday will be in Fort Worth this Saturday for TCU vs West Virginia. My wife hasn't posted my bye week schedule yet, but if I get to watch it I sure hope to see a big green battle flag in the crowd. Anybody going?

My wife couldn't make this game so I brought my brother-in-law. He is an SOSU grad and Longhorn t-shirt fan with no allegiance to NT at all, and he said this was the worst, most one sided officiating he had ever seen.

The guest during tomorrow's broadcast of Mean Green Game Day is going to be Joe Greene. The show starts at 2:30 at Gate 4 and lasts for an hour. The guest appearance usually happens during the game predictions segment. If you set your DVR to tape it, then walk behind the set at just the right time, you can go home and see yourself on t.v. with Mean Joe.

Old Iron Post in Sherman says they will be showing the game. Guess I'm taking the wife out tomorrow night.

As we pulled into the blue lot there were Denton PD officers looking in cars. An officer took a drivers license from someone in the truck in front of us and kept it. She looked to have about a dozen in her hand already. She waved us through. Last week there was talk about a crackdown on student drinking. Was there an incident that prompted this?

Has anyone else watched any of the Mean Green Gameday pregame show that is being put on by some RTVF students? I know it would difficult to watch it live, as it is on in the hour before kickoff, but it looks like they are doing a great job. Is there anyone on here who can get the Alumni Pavillion to consider showing it?

Why don't schools in the same conference work together on out of conference scheduling? Are there rules against it or is it just not the way it is done? For example, let's say C-USA and the SEC work out a deal where UNT goes to LSU, and in return LSU plays a game at LA Tech. A&M comes to Denton, for a game, and gets a home game against LA Tech. Has anything like this ever been attempted?

All this talk about their mascot not being able to fly has me confused. I thought their mascot was this Plymouth.

College of Education is one of the best anywhere and IS the best in Texas. That is why my wife and I both went there. We are also both football fans and attend every game. Today during the drive home she commented that if either of us had the performance record of RV or Mac, we would be fired. Half the teachers I have worked with are NT grads, but my wife and I are the only ones I know that have any MG gear in our classrooms. The one A&M grad at my current campus has all but painted her room maroon and the UT grad wears burnt orange three days a week.This year a fellow teacher and NT grad saw the battle flag decal on my desk and asked if was a UNT flag. She thought it looked familiar.
