If we win this game, I hope all the UT fans realize it is because of this type of culture that has infiltrated their ranks and bled into the type of athletes that choose to go there. it will change under strong, I just hope we are going to be the reason they snap out of it!

i think that we will see less of our commits flipping because most of them wait for a bit before committing and the personality type that this staff appeals to seems to be very prideful and loyal overall. talk about the team taking on the coaches personality.

i know Caleb Chumley has a cousin that is a quarterback for longview so maybe it's another Chumley that is related.

I hope we are that early non-conference loss, but i also hope they go on to be bowl eligible afterwards.

UTSA is the fourth. not sure if you left them off on purpose but they definitely went into apogee last season and beat the best UNT team in recent memory so the disrespect is a bit ironic don't you think? i dont like utsa but until we can dominate them, we cant disregard them.

i would imagine that the coaches are really going after this guy seeing how thin we are at safety going forward... kid is definitely in the trice/lee mold with bringing the pain whenever possible!

the interlocked NT is no bueno... that's the only issue i have with the uniform.

they also have very intricately designed winning traditions in those simple uniforms. we have no real incentive to keep the "classic" look. I think we should try to get the SOW to be our new classic look. i don't wanna be the new oregon by any stretch of the imagination but we should do something new to go with the new burst of energy in the program!!! *long winded for no good reason*

i can see him filling the same role that Kidsy did last season for sure, but from the slot.

i dont think any of them step in and make a huge impact right away... I for see a lot of red shirts this year, especially the defensive guys. the wide receivers are the most likely to play their first year. and willy will get redshirted at RB because there are already 7 guys back there so why waste a year of eligibility? Okee will get redshirted to put on bulk, i like Jalen Adams to also play along with tee and fonzale. outside of that, everyone else gets redshirted. on second thought... maybe kishawn mcclain finds his way into the special teams unit... there are a lot of guys I am excited about for 2015 though. I think this will prove to be one hell of a recruiting class!

coaches need to offer soon! UNT is the kind of place where academic issues can be handled pretty easily. with the staff's commitment and the schools easier entrance level courses, he could definitely ease his way into college level academics with hard work. that, of course, is if he even has academic issues to begin wih. this kid could be one of the first big bodied DL recruits to choose us and start a trend in the area of kids not going elsewhere (where they were not wanted as much) and riding the bench for 3 years.

ULL and Arky State would be the best additions. ASU has shown the ability to recruit and they have decent facilities. ULL and their bowl game attendance speak for itself. I would not want Texas state in there because they are another team that is new to the fbs level. ULL is something that needs to happen. arky state would just be a nice bonus.

i thought Zach would run in the mid 4.6s... 4.7 doesn't help his cause much as far as sneaking into the draft but we'll see.

i will probably go to this game. it's just a few hours away from Lville. i am also going to the IU game! hopefully the keep scheduling to my neck of the woods!

now that i think about it, williams reminds me a lot of teddy bridgewater. an athletic qb who is pass first, slender with a good arm, and quiet/introverted. having seen bridgewater in person a few times, we can only hope he turns out to have the same fearless swagger about him that teddy touchdown does. if so, the next 4 years could be glorious for the mean green!!!

this is exactly why they need to build the new track and field area in the mean green village, tear down fouts, and put up those two or three new parking structures they have planned around campus. i know none of this will happen till the union is finished and the baseball stadium is ready but it would be smart to try to get started on this stuff ASAP!
