isn't our LB coach one of the better recruiters? Why do we have so many walk on MLB and WLB??? I know a lot of those guys can contribute on special teams, but man... we need some help on the actual defense. I think our top 2 lbs are decent but there is little proven ability behind them rn.

depends on if Guyton is consistent next year and beyond. Elex always seems to grade well, even with out l problems.

Elex Woodworth has the best shot of anyone on our roster right now.

I still think we would have gotten in if Fry stayed 2-3 more years... but not getting bowl games is tough on anyone!

There has got to be something up here. Kid is a baller and first team all state. size and speed don't appear to be an issue watching his tape... Maybe we are out of LB spots... A blue shirt may be warranted because we need long term ILB help!!!

I think this kid could potentially start for us next year... we will see what Mr. Robinson and Mr. Sanders have to say about that. Mr. Muhammad's spot isn't completely safe either as he got worked down the field numerous times this year. I LOVE the idea of competition for spots in the DBs. Brooks, Hall, Roberts, Johnson, and Moore will likely compete for PT at corner. Preston, Davis, and Fernandez (remember he started as a RS frosh a couple years back) for Nickle... I think there is some competition to be had in the backfield! I totally forgot about Williams coming in as well... we should see steady improvement from this group over the coming years!

Graham Harrell is not yet a good play caller and Mason Fine is not yet an elite QB. Don't @ me. We need to win this game and i'm not sure how that is gonna happen.

Replacement for Flusche... Good! We need one more guy to fit in for Tillman and we may be able to take a step forward on the Dline next year with the development of the guys on the team!

Fred Scott was over 230 and BG is right around 230. They are both shorter though.

I disagree simply because ADs and coaches often hire coordinators based on trajectory and fit... If he is going to work under an offensive coach, I think they would take him now and keep molding him. If it's a defensive coach, they may want him to be a bit more polished and have his own system he can run independently.

man... kid may have just broken his neck... the way his arms are strapped in to the gurney is not a good sign.

man... this is rough! I hope to God the kid is going to be OK. The fact that they won't move him yet is not looking good. I wonder if they are worried about his breathing or just not causing more skeletal/nerve damage.

pay him and the rest of the staff much more now to set the precedent for the future. Also, increase the buy out for the school that will come knocking in a year or two. I don't think he will leave now, but it's coming and we had better be ready to benefit as much as possible when it happens.
