    Agreed that it was time to let him go. I'll always remember the 2013 season and how much fun it was to follow the team at that time. Thanks for that coach Mac, and best wishes for the future.

    I'm pretty happy with SIU at home and a UTA game on the schedule. Plus we host a mini tournament, kinda cool.

    I obviously don't keep up with the team enough then. I was simply basing it off how many freshmen/sophomores were listed on the roster. Still a disappointing start though, I hope this doesn't become a theme.

    Was at the game, not an easy one to watch for the Mean Green. This team looks completely different, might be a rebuilding year for the program.

    To be fair there's quite a difference between what type of speech people expect to hear from a TEDx talk and a graduation ceremony. Although I wouldn't particularly care to have to sit through either tbh.

    So I noticed on UTA's athletic site that they have UNT scheduled for a game this coming December 3rd at 7:00PM. Looks like the rivalry is back on track?

    NDSU is just insane. I remember seeing footage of them playing Big XII teams and their away supporters rivaled that of other power schools that travel well. Not to mention their fans vastly outnumbered the Sam Houston fans for the championship games......played in Texas.

    I seem to be in the minority here in this thread, but I'm pretty happy with them. I should mention that I was also a fan of the Dodge era jerseys too though. The main focus point for me is that we finally have a darker shade of green, plus I love the black trim. I do hope we go with white pants instead of the green on green look however...

    My favorite other than Apogee has to be DKR Memorial Stadium, but UT is my #2 team, so I'm a tad biased. It's absolutely huge which creates a fun atmosphere and is in a good location given its size. I too also hope to make the trip to West Point in the coming years.

    Suicide Squad looks better based on the trailer than I was expecting, but I still likely won't see it. And I have no idea if Batman vs. Superman will be any good. That'll be the one I'll probably see, but still, I'm kinda burned out of superhero films overall.

    I was sitting near the top with my parents and gf. While in line for a hat one of the concession hawkers told us that the line for UNT was longer than the one he saw for A&M night. Made me pretty happy to hear that. The ending of the game could've gone better, but oh well. Fun night all around!!
