Gah, I hope not. NO, I'm actually not. I'm not beating my chest because I have a fresher perspective. I'm getting sick of certain posters thinking that years of being butt hurt gives them a higher sense of realism when it's exactly the opposite. And some posters are ridiculously UN-positive 100% OF THE TIME. And that's cool. We are on 2 opposing sides of a biased outlook. Whatever. This is the place where happy thoughts go to die. I get it.

When you don't score an entire first half, have 11 penalties and allow a FG block TD and only lose by 3.... Yeah. I'd say we GAVE the game to them, as only the better team can. Tulane's fans couldn't believe how well they did. AND THEY WON BY 3. We didn't show up. It happens. Our history doesn't help the tension. I agree. I do not agree with the thought that talents were matched. I haven't been a fan of this offense consistently. Something DOES NEED TO CHANGE. This is a better team with a better mentality than it has had over the past 8 years. Most things are mental, so I find that a significant step forward. We botched the game last week and it feels like this team not only doesn't know how to win, but we are literally, SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY watching wheels turn as they try to figure out what kind of team they actually are. Time will tell. If only we can develop some sort of positive consistency. I definitely think that it isn't a talent issue that we keep us from a bowl game. There's a lot of issues that need to be fixed.

unlike most of you.... I grew up in the Denton area and have had numerous friends play for the football team. Back it up. SO I haven't invested countless years of b******* and whining with you guys. But I'm not going to get into a pissing match on who's the bestest fan.

And I don't think we need anyone else to point it out like it's news. I didn't say we would beat anyone. I said I'd puke if we didn't win. And I did. So, get get yourself a Snickers. I never said we were going to beat La Tech. BUT we are a better team. And maybe.... just maybe... there is a possibility that I may have an insight into that because I do have a family member playing on game days. But, crap... I guess that makes my POV invalid. And, I'd be obliged to have you point out where I chastised anyone for thinking we wouldn't have a 9-3 record this season. I don't even remember thinking that. The fact that I repetitively read and respond to the diarrhea that gets slung around this board is kinda funny. You don't have to worry about it being taken too seriously. I had the honor to meet a few posters this past weekend, even 90. And it seems like his dark side lives on this forum. I was expecting an A. So, I'm pretty sure the King of Zings on this forum is aware that my reply was to be taken lightly.

Ugh. This is fascinating to me. Not only is it not on game night, but on a Wednesday evening. The night where a lot of kids have church events. Oh... and just what every parent wants... going to be out late on Thursday (school) night already. Let's drag the kids out Wednesday night too. Brilliant.

I am really having a hard time understanding the recruiting argument. if you're comparing 18/ 19 year old kids to a 25 year old grown man who has played football five more years.... hmm. Yeah. sounds like a legit argument. These incoming freshman are going to continue to develop for the next several years and we've been getting a heck of a lot better recruits than we have in the past. most of these recruits aren't coming here because of the brand of UNT. They're coming because of Mac. You guys need to go take some Advil and get rid of these hangovers that you are still harboring.

The missed assignment on the FG block was a really stupid mistake and a HUGE momentum changer.

3:02 and 3:48 Our O line was really over powered. James Jones played a pretty good game. Worth mentioning with all of the corner discussions.

I guess its true that you don't have to be the best team in the conference to win it. You just have to be the best on the field on game day. We were so much more talented than this team.

maybe thats why it felt like Tulane had the ball the whole game. Tulane's O was on the field for 1 min. in the 3rd and we only had possession for 27 min. the whole game.

I was speaking on Return players because they are a part of our "special teams" and yes... the Fg block was a kick to the gut. But- we were in the proverbial "easy win game" until the last 6 minutes. And again.... Our defense cant be on the field 3 quarters of the game!!!!

Respectfully... I was 30 yards away when the ball was lobbed for a pick 6. Our defense held them to 10 points. When Orr rolled over on that guy and got called for late hit... BS call. Our special teams and Defense have been the biggest part of our 2 win record. The Spt player that blocked to the inside and left that huge gap on 2 plays... hmmmm... pretty sure he got chewed today and last night. I heard some of the chewing, in fact. Our return players have put up a lot of yards. and.... Losing is a team effort. But, something has to be said for a O line that can keep defenses off a QB that takes FOREVER to throw the ball.

Yeah... I know a few of you saw me after the game. I share the same disgust and pissedoffness that some of you have. I went to my hotel in the barrio and was asleep by 11:30. The sting was still there when I woke up this morning. AND I'm not just talking about my bank account being raped this weekend, my feet being raw (No, Green P1, I wont send you a pic of them) or that I will be bathing in Purell for the next few days. When our defense plays three quarters of the game... and performs like that...Yeah. Fist bump. OUR offense lost this game for us. crappy play calling, stupid a penalties, biased Refs...etc. I unfortunately won't be there next weekend. But, if you people don't have candy for my kids and I bring them to a Halloween game. S&@t will hit the fan. Moving on.... That is all.
