He was... I think he's played every secondary position now. I believe strong safety will be his "home" this year. Defense all around looked really solid. Greer was the only one I recall completing a down field pass today. Cousins got some reps.

Strong safety... He's been playing 2nd string safety behind Lee.

Fred Scott, Sed Ellisand Chad Davis saw the field a TON. today. Secondary 1's were Jones Whitfield and Schilleci. I saw Dash more today.

Did your mother drop you? I wouldn't expect you to know this because I'm guessing that you were not a college athlete, but the most difficult classes in these athletes majors are taken during the summer. Student athletes have to work their ass off going from early morning practice to weights to class to film to practice to film and then to study hall.... Several of these guys took anatomy and physiology 1 & 2 this summer and they ALL HAD their finals the week of 2 a days!!! Quit posting retarded crap! Congratulations to all of these guys. You almost have zero personal lives, Live and breathe football and continue to post the grades. Those of us that have any idea what's involved in that- know exactly how hard that is! Great job!

I agree. Maybe they see or know something that we don't. (Ridiculous, I know) If that's the way it spins- I'm a Greer fan, anyway. Who freaking knows.... I've been surprised before. AND if you have ever been to a practice or scrimmage before- "DO your ____ ing job!" is one of the most popular lines repeated by Mac.

A consistent underlying tone regarding our QBs on this board has been- " I don't understand what happened with Berglund? & What's up with DW and why is he not higher on the depth chart? & Why would McNulty be in contention for the starting job over the super athletic DW (which obviously makes him a better QB) if he couldn't cut it under our sucky MVP QB from last year....?" There's an answer to each of these questions and comments somewhere in this blog post.... Nutshell- if you don't fit their QB mold, you aren't going to play. Speculation on the how's and whys of who the starter will be- answered.

I DO know this.... I was trying to get my favorite player to transfer a couple of more tickets from other players that were not using them. This is usually not that big of a deal at away games AND some home games. It was impossible. EVERYONE is using ALL OF them and they haven't even assigned them yet. So- that seems kind of promising... I bet we have at least 2,000.

Jimmy had a good scrimmage the other day. One of the biggest things that we noticed was that there were A LOT of incomplete passes. With that being said- the defense is usually a couple of steps ahead of the offense at this point in the year so, we'll see. There was a lot of concern about our defense at the beginning of spring, but we all thought they looked pretty damn good. Means will red shirt definitely unless something really weird happens. Greer looked really solid, but they will give McNulty every chance in the world to earn his spot. I would put money on Mcnulty starting at Texas.
