  1. Interesting that Marshall has four of the elleven defensive all freshman slots.
  2. Pass on the email address.
  3. Forrest Gump got into The University of Alabama.
  4. http://msn.foxsports.com/collegefootball/story/sister-says-shooting-was-over-alabama-crimson-tide-loss-to-auburn-tigers-michelle-shepherd-adrian-laroze-briskey-120213 Amazing
  5. I haven't seen a Mean Green Barbershop podcast come over to my Iphone in a while. Do they come out weekly?
  6. His salary is supposedly funded by three alumni who ponied up (no pun intended) to bring him in originally.
  7. Good point. I'm guessing the reason we didn't throw the ball in the Rice game is that they have two of the best cornerbacks in CUSA.
  8. "The Stand" was the best football watching experience I've ever had in person.
  9. SMU attendance vs. Connecticut (last home game): 14,639
  10. Big win-can we get their quarterback in a package deal?
  11. After a day's rest and thawing out, the stink is off. We lost, it happens. Now it's time to go take care of Tulsa.
  12. I love the attitude. The fact that we're this bummed after losing to a decent team shows how far the program has come. Today was also the best example of why they should serve alcohol at the stadium.
  13. This is a bad football day: A&M spanked Mean Green spanked Baylor getting spanked And to add insult to injury-------SMU won. Come on Dallas Cowboys-save us!
  14. I was on the other side, but the UTSA fans I met were all cool.
  15. I didn't understand the lack of adjustments to the quick out and the quick screen. They didn't throw the ball down the field often enough to keep our db's so far back. I'm in a bad mood, and still frozen. That said, it has still been a fun year
  16. Not soft. It's just that we've ridden our defense all season, and they were not their normal dominant self. Offense has been the weak spot, and needs to improve fast.
  17. I"ll throw this one on the coaches. I think when I looked at this scoreboard after the first quarter, they were already at 150 yards of offense. They ran the same quick screen over and over and we didn't adjust. They obviously saw something on film that they could exploit. At least our kicker was better. I didn't expect much from the offense, so not disappointed there. I was at the Rice game when we lost by a point. That one was just as painful.

  19. Thanks-the thought was to find something around the 40 or 50 yard line from a season ticket holder who couldn't attend. They don't sell those sections at the gate. Season tickets next year.
  20. Any idea why there are no Tickets for Saturday's game on Stub Hub? The selection I found on the UNT ticket site was pretty weak. Am I missing something? Thx
  21. UTSA has done it right. Well coached, improving throughout the year. They could win, but it's a long shot. 28-10 Mean Green.
  22. I developed a new appreciation for DT at the South Alabama game last year. My seats allowed me to see what he saw from near ground level. There was zero separation by any of the receivers-Peyton Manning could not have squeezed the ball in without picks. I think as his confidence continues to improve, we'll see continued improvement. I'm a fan. I doubt we'll see corners the caliber of Rice's the rest of the way.
  23. Louisiana Lafayette at 37 is strong. Love to see the Frogs and Ponies in the rear view mirror!
  24. Where is TCU ?
  25. As a newcomer to this forum, I'm curious about what happened during the Dodge era? I see a lot of references to it here. We were putting up some serious points initially, but things went downhill. I'm curious as to what happened (less too much sarcasm). It's a sign that things are looking up when Dick's Sporting Goods in Arlington has a UNT rack!
