Went to the game tonight, and was all excited leaving the building after our win. Was looking forward to coming back on Wednesday with two friends, one of whom is a OSU grad. But nooooooooooo! We can't have the game in Denton because we're too incompetent to schedule the use of a facility that holds over 9,000 fans for basketball. We're using it for a luncheon instead! This is why we can't have nice things at UNT!

This is pretty bad. We need other AAC teams to be successful in the tourney if we're ever going to become a regular multi-bid conference. Memphis was definitely missing Tyrese Hunter's outside shooting, as Haggerty was only 1 for 8 from beyond the arc.

Agree with this. Achieving 20-25 wins per year is a successful program when just measuring win totals. Most programs would love to have that level of consistent success. That type of consistency used to be attractive to recruits back before the NIL. I would give this season a 7 at the moment, but that could go up with a strong NIT run, or could go down if we lose the first NIT game.

Does the athletic department collect and/or report student attendance at the games? I'm wondering if there was a dropoff there, and if so, how much? I think one reason for a drop in attendance is that we lost so many players off of last years team, including some long time players like Rubin Jones and Aaron Scott. One of the nice things about college sports is watching players grow and progress from one season to the next, and the transfer portal is really putting a crimp in that.
