    I remember just last year seeing a student walk past me wearing a Tarleton State Univ. football shirt. I had to stop and be in awe, because how messed up is it that they chose to wear a lesser teams shirt on a Div. 1 campus Made me want to stop and confront them, but I was already running late for a class.

    All I know is that every time I drive down I-35 in downtown Austin, I always pass by Univ. of Texas' indoor practice facility and I get jealous. Many of my friends are in the Long Horn Band and they always talk about being able to practice in there at all times of the day. So maybe building one would not only benefit the football program.

    I know I'm in a very very small minority, but I wouldn't mind seeing Texas St end up in C-USA. It's a crazy stretch to think that though.

    North Texas and a host of other schools will officially mark their entrance to Conference USA on July 1.     I feel like what always hurt us in the non-sports fan's eye was that they had no reason to care about who we were playing in conference, so they would never show up to games. Maybe they could grab some new fans and even Denton residents if they advertised it in such a way as MTSU.
