Not sure if this is a common thing that CPC do, but I observed them telling a group of students to stop heckling Ball State players during the game. I just sat there and questioned if the staff member even realized that they were at a football game in the state of Texas.

You'd think it'd be an easy fix. Just add 2 or 3 simple stand tunes in and not play Fly Like An Eagle every 30 seconds. I absolutely love Fly Like An Eagle, everytime I hear it outside of Apogee or the Super Pit, it makes me think of UNT. It's just played way too much. I get jealous everytime my friend (he's in LongHorn band) sends me a video of what they're working on. It's always something very modern or current and gets the fans pumped and on their feet.

That would be the "best" option, but who knows...

I saw a tweet a couple nights ago by @meangreenbb about the installation of a new basketball floor at the Super Pit. Does anyone have any pics yet? Or is it basically the same design, just with a CUSA logo instead of the SBC.

I really like the idea of calling the new residence halls over where Fouts stood as "Fouts Village"

If they can pull off what they're planning on doing, there's no doubt UNT will have one of the best campuses this side of the Mississippi.

I'm sure someone will come along and post all of the greats to come through North Texas, but yes, Mean Joe did play for the Mean Green.

I remember reading a tweet from the NT Daily Sports guy that it was 15k something. I'm not worried about attendance. What did bug me though was how many people left after halftime. You have to be able to retain the people you already have there. Amazing game though.

Too many students left at the half... They missed a hell of a game!
