I actually like our 2015 schedule. Two opportunities against P5 schools that hopefully won't be top 10 teams plus an away game just down the road against a team we love to hate. If we occasionally have to do that to pay the bills then so be it. Not much different that the other non P5 schools I looked at. Everyone has peaks and valleys in their scheduling. Like it or not, we are coming off basically a decade of being a bottom 10 team and that perception won't change overnight with boosters of other programs that we try to get to come to Denton. Imagine them railing on their AD for scheduling an away game at 'North Texas Freaking State'. I trust it only gets better from here as long as the team does its part with W's. I really feel like we are at the beginning of a nice run for UNT football. Go Mean Gren!

I can't quite put my finger on it but it seems like their could be a mathematical relationship to what happened in the basketball and football programs at roughly similar times. Both departing coaches seemingly recruited well toward the end, bu both programs now seem headed in different directions. This can't really be about coaching ability can it? And now you know..............the rest of the story.
