Army is a service academy with a national following much larger than mid to lower tier P5's and is considered to be a P5 opponent when it comes to scheduling by the best P5 conference in the land. We also have a long term H/H series with these guys. What is it exactly that is being asked? Unless we remove the paycheck game, we are not going to eliminate the FCS game. I have seen a lot of people on various boards point out how Marshall recruits non qualifiers. I can see how that will artificially inflate their recruiting class rankings, especially if those kids never end up qualifying and making it to campus. I guess it has the benefit of pumping up the fan base because they see all the stars and high rankings, and if the athlete happens to qualify at the last minute, they get a pretty good player as well. I can see some benefits from this approach even though there are some obvious risks, such as holes in your recruiting class because kids don't qualify.

I suppose it is asking too much to get our crack sports information team to get him added to the online roster.

Yes, they added about ten names to the roster that have not been here before. However, we have previously discusses several of them (transfers/preferred walk on). For example, the DT walkon from MD and Keenum from TT. There are some that are just brand new names.

Just noticed Creighton Barr's official roster weight is listed at 302. Surely he didn't really go from 260 to 302 in one spring/summer. If so, that is incredible.

I am trying to play/replay the video on the Periscope app via my phone and all I can see is a blurred view of the podium and backdrop. I have let the video play for several minutes and no change. Is there something special you have to do to replay the video now that it is over?

I assume this will be up later, but wish they would have shown it live on All Access.
