SMU passed for a total of 166 yards. With 46 of it coming on SMU first play of game (31 on another). They rushed for 203 yards, with 115 of that coming from the QB (on 24 rushes). It was not exactly an offensive explosion from SMU. Matt Davis (QB) line - Passing - 16/23 166 yds 2td 2int (very McNulty like), Rushing - 24 for 115yds (not McNulty like).

Positive Note: Looking at Baylor fans in the stands, they have as many variations of green amongst their faithful as we do. Funny.

I think I see your problem. You need to change the sort order and it looks a lot better.

I would expect him to be disappointed. And then I would expect him to look at why it happened. Was it his own performance, or maybe it was someone else that has stepped up and shown they can lead as well. When there are only two spots, nothing is guaranteed. Glad to see our LB core sweep the two spots. The LB's are typically the heart and emotional leaders of good defenses. Hopefully it is more of a positive sign that others have stepped up rather than Buyers falling off.

Serious question: Have you looked at what it would take to eliminate the annual paycheck game from the schedule? Do you think it is realistic? Not serious: Do you hate UNT90?

Sorry, but I do not agree that the SMU and/or Army series are negatives. The root of our scheduling issues is due to the body bag game. Eliminate the body bag game and we magically have the opportunity to schedule 2 additional H/H series while still keeping the SMU/Army series. We have to somehow find the money to eliminate the annual game tha is causing the issue.

I am in San Diego for a business trip. I knew the Tangers were playing a series with the Padres so I made sure to pack a North Texas shirt to wear to a game i lost count of the number of times I got a UNT or North Texas shout out to which I of course responded with a Go Mean Green! and the Rangers are kicking ass 8-4 at the moment.

What RV needs to do is quit covering for his monocled buddies and tax them the same way he just taxed the students. If he would just raise the fees for the rich up in the suites and generate another $500k, we wouldn't even need the money game. RV and all his apologists up in the suites that he keeps protecting need to step up to the plate and increase their giving just like the students. Otherwise, they are just a bunch of apologists that are ok with selling the team out just so they can save a few bucks.

I am kind of expecting the QB race to end with a 1, and 2a/2b instead of 1,2,3. From a psychological standpoint, it seems like a 2a/2b keeps both guys mentally engaged.
