I think the 2014 class was much better than those that just look at the ratings. 2015 was also solid. I believe our current troubles are due to a poor 2012 and 2013 class along with lackluster QB recruiting. Once the current young guys get some games under their belt, and if our next couple of classes build on what I think were two solid classes in a row, we could could see some sustained success. I hope we can somehow get 3-4 wins out of this year.

They should just put seat backs on all the bleachers in the season ticket/MGC area and adjust the price. It would be a nice incentive to have tickets in that area. Paint the whole area green.

I was referring to the offensive performance. Other than the mistakes that ended drives, they looked about as good as I can remember since the 2013 season (granted, not saying a lot). The defense on the other hand was turrable. Harry posted in another thread. #128 in 3rd down defense. Not going to win much that way.

McNulty had his best half ever. He had 170 or so yards and completed 65% of his passes and moved the offense about as efficiently as possible. Then the 3rd quarter happened. The first drive ended with a bad pass that got tipped by Harris and intercepted. The 2nd drive ended with no fault of McNulty. The 3rd drive was 3 bad incompletions. By then Rice had pulled away because our defense was not stopping much of anything in the 3rd. Last drive of 3rd and the 4th quarter were ok, but by then we were pretty much toast. It wasn't enough, but I would take what I saw offensively today if we could limit the mistakes. I am hopeful our defense gets their act together. We would at least have a shot at winning 4 conference games, not that we would. I really hope we come out swinging next weekend, but most of the time Mac goes full turtle on us against P5 teams.
