Of course another option might be to skip the FCS game and instead schedule H\H with another solid G5 or even P5, but that would mean occasional 5 game home schedules. The flashy assistant that is a little inexperienced would be a good option in situations where there is an older, experienced executive within the program that can mentor and nurture the 'running a program' side of things. I will leave it for others to decide whether or not we have that type of person somewhere within our athletic department that would garner the respect and trust of a young assistant and be willing to take guidance from that person. If you think we have that person, then you shouldn't be concerned with a young'ish assistant. If you don't, you are probably leaning heavily toward a retread or establish coach from a lower level.

I like Chico's enthusiasm and connection with the players, but I would have to see what the list of real alternatives are. I don't see any reason why he would not be given the opportunity to interview if he was interested. He seems like he has at least earned the right to an interview. I would not say the same for Cosh. If nothing else, it gives him a chance to polish his HC presentation skills for his next opportunity.

I saw Demarcus mention he attended 2 funerals. I know about the Demond Ramsey funeral that was referenced as his best friend/brother. Does anyone know the other? Demarcus mentioned he was pall bearer at 2 funerals. Unbelievably strong mind/will to fight through that this week.
