Well this does it for me and college football. I see why SL is now recruiting lower level players, get a big fish, has good season and he is off to the the big $$$$ schools. I doubt he will make in the pros (not many do) but he might make some good coin playing in college. College football is dead to me. I won't be buying season tickets anymore. Maybe we just focus on Basketball where we can afford to pay for players. So sad I always loved college football over pro football.

I know I will get a lot of hate here-but can we afford to pay our players what other AAC teams will be paying. We know SMUT has deep pockets. Can we compete in the AAC in FB? I am ecstatic that we get to say good bye to Judy and her outstanding leadership skills. I know we can compete in BB but FB is the concern.

I was thinking 4-8 this season, we surprise someone but I don't see a winning season. The only question from the Rice game, if we are 2-8 and Seth is playing for his job we have a real problem on our hands.

Don't let them fool you, I remember driving home from dates and seeing the temp billboard on I-10 at 1 am still at 101 and oh yeah I was running over 1000's of grass hoppers on the interstate- to be young again lol. I grew up in EP and yeah dry heat but hot is hot. Yes shade works better in EP than DFW and the nights over all do cool down. I don't miss the hot dry temp with high winds-like opening your oven when it has been on for a while. I worked in landscaping during summers in my youth in EP. I don't know how I did it.
