Watching SL last night-the southwest airline commercial came to mind-"Wanna get away".

I went to the ticket office and had them print me tickets for the game. If the scanners are down you can always take the ticket when we enter the stadium. They had one person scanning tickets for the blue lot and she told they had equipment problems and that is why there was only one person. I give this game day an F, from parking, score board on the north side and the product on the field. I saw a linebacker (who is starter) seem to lose his focus on the game. They pulled him out during when the game was way of hand. Perhaps to make sure he didn't get hurt but he was not happy about it. SL should resign and get a OC coordinator at a P-5 school. He make more money and have less pressure.

I was thinking about the head coach job last night and I started to wonder who would want to be HC of schools like ours and many others who don't have the big NIL money to throw around. You can coach like crazy but if you cant get the players you will be doomed in the new world of NIL. Don't fire SL just have him scan tickets for the blue lot until his contract is up and bring in coach but I think it will be harder to get someone with the new NIL. How much money do you want to bet that SMUT approached Adway after the game?

It does seem the A-dept did anything right for this game.

I think SL should consider maybe lining the qb behind the center at the goal line. This staring three yards back is not a good thing for us. Aune is big boy a qb sneak at the goal line once in while would new twist for this team.

SL has to be judged by the way he plays SMUT and Memphis. That is our conference next year. IF SL is back next season might has well call Judy back and see if our spot is still open. We might be able finish second in the new CUSA.

I don't know if you guys at the game saw this but SL ran off the field and into the tunnel when there was still time on the clock at half time. I thought maybe was going to his car to leave. If he is here next year this type of game will happen a lot in AAC.

We are taking a big step from CUSA. I hope we are ready.

I guess we will see how good the O-line is this week.

Maybe we tell people the game was cancelled. SL does not have a good record in front of large crowds.

I have been thinking more about this and here is my take. We have to win the game against SMUT or Memphis because they will be our future conference mates. If we look bad in those two games SL could win ever game after that and would still let him go. We are making a big jump next year we have to be ready. CUSA is a weak conference so those games won't really matter as we look to the future.

Really this is our marketing plan for the game with SMUT? UTEP was out selling tickets this summer for our game. Correct me if I am wrong but I think this the first thing I have seen about the game? Rain chance are down to 15% on Saturday so that is good thing. Our fan base melts when it gets wet.

Kason was always cheering on his teammates. Did SL ever put him on the field? when we are getting killed or killing someone else you need to see what you got in the game. He is the most stubborn coach when it comes to qbs. I always wanted to see what he can do on the field. Good luck to him at ENMU he deserves his shot.

I like the atmosphere at the game. The people I sit around every year, the band. I love game day live, I hate the red man who slows the game down for commercials for tv. I love how everyone is sitting/standing around waiting for red man to give them the sign it is ok to start the game again.
