Great three more years of hearing the three phases of football, if you get knock to the Mat you have to get back up.

I don't think this is the first time we have heard this, I recall it was talked about last year. Maybe the qb are on island since we don't have a qb coach. -

Worried after thinking about the AAC

Don't worry to much we will have our starting qb back! -
Maybe they choose the the guy to fit their game plan. Aune stares down his receivers all the time We may have better passers but they don't fit what SL thinks he wants to do. If Aune is the best we are in deep trouble. SL just wants to run the ball and throw short passes and throw as little as possible. SL won't make adjustments in the game so why change qbs.
-
Some qbs are great in practice and no so much in the game, some qbs are gamers. At least give a chance to play in case Aune gets hurt.
-
This week would a great to evaluate his qbs.
-
I am not sure who the receiver was on the play around the 20 who got open was behind the secondary but had to come back to catch the ball. If was hit in stride he was gone. SMU qb seemed to throw some balls that hung up in the air for what seemed a long time. I kept thinking we have time to get that but we were no where to be found.

SL should be replaced now instead of later. Perfect opportunity to see some new qbs, he knows what Aune can do by now. I hear the the kid from LaTech has a strong arm. Give people a reason to come to the game. Tried of the same old crap ever week. I bet all we see is running this game. If the running gets going SL won't let Aune throw a pass. I hope they practiced lining up on center this week. Maybe my thinking wrong but the qb on center turns to handoff to running back that has gained some speed to hit the line or you qb can do a qb sneak. When you stand three yards back the running back starts from a dead stop. WIth SL being a former fullback you would think he would have this play down.

I have no idea.

I wonder if we will draw more fans to the games when Memphis, ECU come to town? LATECH always had strong following. -
Then this on SL and staff. He won't hire a qb coach and the we get the same results over and over.
-
SMU will make the jump soon. They are paying well and will get the talent. I mean the players who don't go pro and really have no interest in the educational part may take a pay cut to get their first job. They have too much money to stay in the AAC. $36k to a lot of these college kids is big money. They are going to be a pro football light program. the big spenders will need to be all together. If we could spend 36k a player I am sure we could be a powerhouse as long as we hired a new head coach.

If so was anything said beside the three phases of football.

I think SL is almost scared to change qbs because if a backup comes out and does well, he will be questioned why has the guy been on the bench the whole year. Kason Martin is an example. Martin was 24/31 for 313 and 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. Granted he playing down but I watched the game. He could throw the long ball and could hit the receivers in stride both long and mid passes. I still don't understand why he never saw the field for us.
-
I sure all the team fans on our schedule have us penciled in as a win
-
Do you mean make adjustments?
-
We still don't know how good or bad UNLV is? They pounded Idaho State and were off last Saturday. They play Cal this week.
