  1. is that the school gets and has to distribute to the players? if so that wont buy many what burger gift cards. the razorbacks must be thrilled. Is it based on view of team or what?
  2. The defense was as bad as I remember, glad the dc is back again this. year.
  3. did he give a reason the bigger teams would not come to denton? should try to work with some MWC schools in BB. we cant be the only team having this problem.
  4. don't worry about SMUT land they have enough money to buy into another conference if needed
  5. did you forget we have the worst DC in the country coming back this year.
  6. I didn't know bell could smile. He always had a mean look on the court.
  7. Good for him, I loved watching him play. Still has the floater shot.
  8. Not so fast, SA has a soft on crime. They will be on the field in the fall. They will be on unsupervised triple probation.
  9. Josh Mancuso · Follow · BREAKING: Tennessee football has reluctantly signed ½-star wide receiver Josh Mancuso. The 40-year old, who has 3 years of remaining eligibility, and has spent 20 years in the transfer portal, is finally getting his shot with The Big Orange. Two decades ago Mancuso earned a single non-scholarship varsity letter at a Division III school in southwest Virginia. After redshirting his freshman year, he anticipated a strong 2nd year on the practice squad, but injured his back before the season even started. Out of pity, the school credited him as a member of the team anyway. The VOLS picked up Mancuso this offseason on the agreement that he would stop calling the athletic department every morning. Despite a recent ankle injury during a pickup game of basketball, as well as a traumatic vasectomy mandated by his wife, he claims to be in game-ready shape. Boasting a 40-yard dash time of 4.25 (minutes) and a non-existent vertical, Mancuso will be a Day 1 benchwarmer behind more athletic players half his age. He did, however, pick up 2 NIL deals including a $100 Home Depot gift card, and a voucher for 200 Chick-Fil-A points, which is almost enough for one chicken sandwich. . . . . . #collegefootball #recruit #recruiting #football #sports #comedy #satire Where is Ravon?
  10. UNT is not alone in this boat. I think it would interesting to see graduation rate of players before NIL and after NIL. While he help some it most likely hurt a lot of other players.
  11. Earle didn't transfer earlier because he had not graduated to able to jump to ACU. That is why he was out and then back out and back out again. He had the intention last year to go but had to wait to graduate. Good luck to him and he is not playing for the money but for the love of the game. He wants to play.
  12. 1.5 , I have never been less excited for the season to start. It combination of things, NIL, bring back the worse DC coordinator in the college football for another season.i bought my season tickets but not sure how many I will make and I live in Denton.
  13. had a pretty rough night in the promise land. Heavy straight line winds and lots of rain. Many trees down around the city as well as yard stuff distributed around the neighborhoods. Nothing compared to just north of us.
  14. TexasTech had a lot players enter the portal also. Mac can be tough on players and some may not like that and they can go somewhere else and play. What interesting on why Ruben is going MI is for the history. Hard to believe he would not even go through senior night here.
  15. Lived in Albuquerque for many years. They are the only game in town and the fans show up for the games. You couldn't get a game for years. The last five years they were not good and the crowd thinned and tickets were available and attendance was way down. I sure if they are winning now they are drawing a crowd. UNM is truly a commuter school. They have a medical school and an engineering school. The campus is located in not a great area of town. Hope he finds happiness there.
  16. I think what is slowing down the seating is they have to see how many season ticket they will have to work with. Then they have deal with the number seats held by season ticket holder and they have to slot into rows to make it work. I have two seats but the guy next to me has one and other guy other size has four. I think they know the number of seats but have to figure out how the season ticket holders will fit in the rows.
  17. Reedit had a list of the Super conference team. and one division called the under conference. We did not make the list of those teams, the team down south of us was on the list. Tulane and Temple were on the list as well. Boise State and James Madison were also there.
  18. Sorry to hear that, you think IT would be one field that wont face layoffs these days but I guess no one is immune.
  19. I can tell I have never been less excited about MG sports since the 1970's. NIL has killed it for me. Part of I enjoyed was watching the progress of he players develop.. I bought my season tickets for football but I am not sure about basketball this year. It just sucks to be one of the farm teams.
  20. he has an interesting shot.
  21. I dont know how anyone can hold a mid major coach responsible for the team records with all this going on. I am thinking I might retire from a being a basketball fan. At this rate the one guy on the bench maybe our point guard..nnI guess I will wait and see on who we get to replace these players before I renew my season tickets.
  22. The Defense cant be any worse than last year or can it be?
  23. Nothing will surprise me anymore. College football and basketball are dead. Nothing more than semi pro teams
  24. This just sucks, it will be this way forever now. We are the farm system for the rich guys. Maybe the team that picks up the player should pay for the education and expenses at the old school . everyone else is making money why not the farm system.
