Maybe the NCAA should give each conference the same amount of money. The big guys have bloated budgets. I think some of them are hiring special assistants to the water boy now. I know the P-5 would not go for it and would abandon the NCAA before they would give up a dime A level playing field makes college football so much more fun. I am tried of seeing the same teams in the playoffs each year. It gets old. I don't think I watched one the playoff games last year. I just have no interest.

Funny when I arrived here in the mid 1970's I thought the campus was beautiful. Probably because I grew up in El Paso and had never seen that many trees and green in my life. TWU is trying to get Bell closed and I think they may have done it. So it can be done but you have to get a city council member to push it. I wouldn't ask the Mayor because his old business was an eyesore of its own. I have been on the TWU campus and they seem to better job with grounds than we do. I guess a smaller campus makes it easier. I am not sure who is in charge of that aspect but they could do better. I have great memories at the GAB because that is where I had most my classes and met great friends. I think a building that could be torn down (don't know what it called) but it located across from Maple hall next to the music building. It looks a elementary School building. Some of the older building on campus give it character. I remember one day I took a different walking home and went out of the west doors of the GAB and walked up the mall towards the Admin building. It really had the college vibe. It is so different from the path from the GAB to the SUB and beyond.. Back then the Old Business Building did not have air conditioning. In the spring the windows would be open with no screens the wasps would fly into the classroom.

I understand what you are saying but how many victories do you think we will have playing in the AAC. Even the worst teams are better than a lot of our teams in our conference. CUSA is a bad footballl conference.

I thought Stone was a sharp shooter when he came to UNT. I don't remember him making a basket? Could have missed with all the missed shots last night. One play that surprised me was when we played pressure defense and tried to trap the player with the ball and a SNC scored easily.

I guess SNC was after a moral victory vs a real victory.

If Aune returns next year I bet with lose Stone Earle to the portal. most likely they all run the portal. SL doesn't like change and he will go with AUne if he returns.

SNC did not throw the game, the starters were in and out. They may have been tried who knows but if they could have won it they would have. We were cold as ice, we had open shots but they didn't fall. One other thing I noticed in the first half after we shot there were not white jerseys near the basket for a rebound. They changed that in the second half and that is why we won. First part of the game I thought I was watching a Benford team with all the mass substitutions. Oh yeah thank goodness for Abou he came to play.

After Reading the UAB fan forum there should be plenty of seats available. Not a happy bunch over there.

if we don't have at least have one of our running backs back it could be tough. Ragsdale looked good but behind them I am not sure what we have. Hoping we get healthy before this weeks game.

I saw shorter on the sidelines in sweats after halftime. He looked fine but your never know. I never saw Adeyi on the sideline. UAB starting qb has been out and I don't if he is back on the field.

Burns look very fast today. One his one run to the end zone he left everyone behind. It ps like he had another gear.

Why doesn't SL give the backups playing time? They need to use to the speed of the game and blowout it is good time help them develop. Plus maybe you avoid injuries to your starters. I say Shorter in sweats walking on the sidelines after half time. Hope is ok and they just kept out to save him for next week, the running back injury did not look good and I didn't see him after halftime.
