I personally prefer the green and white colors for our uniforms but if excites the team then wear them all you want. the one thing I do not like about the black jersey's is it hard to read the names on their back.

The two extra weeks before the bowl game I am talking about. I would hold the running backs that have bumps and bruises out until the game in SA. I still not convinced we will be there. Big games don't go well for us. Remember that easy UTEP game that would have made us bowl eligible? They blew us out the Sun Bowl.

Well it is suppose to start raining tomorrow-thrusday morning. 40% of rain Saturday morning, west wind 10-20 mph. high 54 degrees. You know if a drop of rain drops Saturday at 7 am we lose 25% of the fans that were going to attend. It won't be pretty with the Thanksgiving holiday and the students not there. The students showed up for the last game. Side note I went to the Fresno BB game and the students were well represented but the Season ticker holders were missing. Even the guys who sit on the floor weren't there. The first game I went to there were a lot of season ticket banners on the seats and I thought this a lot better than I recall. The Fresno game I could see a lot of those banners. I bought an extra seat because I wanted to support Mac and the team.

oh yeah that really helps us when play the out of conferences games next year. I am sure SL keeps all the starter in all the practice because they won't be here next year. I would take the days to look at next year team and get it up and running. The senior starters can rest. I would make Aune throw footballs into the stationary net (😉). I would definitely let the running backs rest and get healthier.

I really don't really care if we are in the Lawnmower Bowl or Cereal Bowl. The players deserve to go and have fun. The bowl games are too watered now to mean anything. I sure every team in the water down bowls want us an opponent.

So you are really thinking SL can be 500 coach in the AAC? you are going to be disappointed.

If you look at the MUTS and wonder how Stockstill keeps his job. Give SL an extension and we are on way to live the dream that the MUTS has.

So would the next three games be considered big win games? how many big game wins do we have and what are the odds of getting three big wins in a row.

I saw a picture of the Texas am vs Auburn at the Kyle Field. I would have never thought there could so few fans at Texas A&M game. I know it cold and some showers but those are rabid fans down there. I tried to cut a pic of but I guess you cant cut from Facebook. Rice may have outdrawn them.

Rice will probably surprise us this weekend. Isn't that how it plays out here?

Maybe we will play a team where the qb and the running backs and their top players sit out to get ready for the NFL. I say the coach leaves also but we all know how that turned out for us.

I was listening to Mac after the game. He sound upbeat and positive. He did mention he thought Ruben got tired. He has not been working with the team until this week. Perry has been working with the team in practice.

Fresno is like us in that they use their defense to win games. There were times in last nights games when the chemistry was there and then it would disappear for while. I saw all three phases working at times last night. I think we will be fine. We better be because every CUSA will be out to kick our ass.

Good for them but when do we get our participation trophy?

They beat UNLV and we got blown out by UNLV who a has losing record this year.

I thought Stone had pretty good game last night he hit a three and couple of free throws but had some big rebounds as well.

During the Fry era they were not a lot of bowl games. With his record in this day and age he would be in bowl game every year. I bet he would have won a few along the way. SL is no Haden Fry. Look at who Fry was playing during the season. Yeah I don't want to fall off the cliff like LATECH did. If we were in the AAC this year we would have a losing record and would not be going to a bowl. I still think Holtz would be a good candidate for the HC job. JT Hammonds=Sexton?

Has anyone check the lost and found at the Super Pit to see if our offense might be there?

So SMUT was down 56-17 and towards the end of the game they kick a field goal to lose 56-20. I guess it sounds better than 56-17 but going for three? Wonder how long it will be before the Highland Villagers come demanding he be fired.

you know Sexton is trying to work one sided deal right now with UNT. With SL or another one of his clients. Whatever we do, please do not hire the Kent State coach. I watched them play last night and it was like watching UNT play. Good first half, lousy second half, qb who cant hit an open receiver and if the box is stack he had no solution.
