I am seeing less and less fans at the games, even the season ticket holders are not showing (tell by the green chairs). The two people in front who were also at games have not been coming the four seats next to them said after the SMUT game he would not be back and he hasn't. My friends who have been season ticket holders for years hardly come to any games and usually leave early. they are not SL fans. We don't have great attendance to begin with. I am always so disappointed when I get to the game and the crowd is small. Yeah I think some won't be back as long as SL is here. So yeah I am saying we will lose fans.

if we extend SL contract I am afraid we will have a big drop in attendance. We cannot afford that with the few fans we have.

if they want to give SL an extension than do with no buy out clause. Maybe WB takes him to WVA to be the head coach since they have a bromance.

he could have fired SL going out the door and he would not have to worry about the donors because he is out of here. the timing could not have been worse.

Every bowl could say that except the Bahama bowl, Hawaii bowl. Part of the Frisco bowl last year it was thrown together so fast and disorganized. Remember we sold our allocation very fast but then stopped dead its track. maybe people got confused and thought game was sold out because of the selling out of the allocation. Or maybe are students and alumni are apathetic. I am leaning toward this one. Anyway they did not miss a thing.

At TAM they call the students that don't go to the games the 1% ers. I am afraid it might be the students that go to games here are called the 1%ers.

When UTSA became part of the system and started the football team they had to borrow uniforms from UTEP. I guess UTSA will have donate to UT-Nacogdoches

We are not a P-5 and we are not winner so I think we are out if that is his criteria. We know he is saying bring cash and we can talk.

He must of turned down a lot of money to stay at Tulane. Maybe GT was going to make him keep the assistants.

I know this is a late post on the game but I will give Aune a compliment. On the touchdown to Shorter Aune did not even look his way until he was throwing the ball. He looked the DB off and I have never seen him do that. He tends to stare down the receivers. He even had me fooled where he was looking. If he could that all the time it might help him a lot.

If UTSA is in white helmets it might help Aune if we are in green helmets.

Air Force will be tough game for us. They scored a lot of points the beginning of the season but the last few games it has been way down. I don't know if someone got hurt or what. There defense seems to be pretty good also. Looking at the MWC standing Utah State is ahead of them through a tie breaker. USAFA record is 9-3 and 5-3 in conference. Utah State was 6-6 and 5-3 in conference.

Has his record improved because of his coaching or that CUSA has gotten worse each year. He has been less than successful in the out of conference games in his tenure especially if drop the FCS teams out. We are stepping up to higher competition next year. I don't if he can have much success in the AAC. Smut pounded us, Memphis beat us, UAB pounded us and UTSA has beaten us. Memphis is towards the bottom of the AAC and SMUT has losing record in the AAC. If we were staying in the CUSA I would say keep him but I think we are taking a bigger step up than we realize. I am not sure any coach we hire will be successful next year in the AAC. We have to get bigger and a lot faster. It may take a couple years to upgrade some of our talent. I know we did not get paid by CUSA this year and we won't get paid our first year in the AAC. I just felt like the AD didn't spend a lot on the marketing part athletics? Is that just be or has anyone else felt that this year?
