Besides with the portal why have so many bowl games?

I remember we were told in the past that they put North Texas on the helmets so people watching knew who we were. Did we really want to tell people who we were this year.? I like the eagle on the helmet the best.

I was looking at the UTEP fan forum and they are having players leave for the portal. In the lesser bowls I guess you have to hope your opponent has more players sitting out than you do. The D played well against ECU in the first half. The second half they were just beating up and pushing our DL. The DL was out of gas, You really have to have depth if run our offense.

are we any better off now than we were with SL?

in this day of the portal, dont count on players until you see him our uniform. Just the way it is now.

Sorry I ruffled the feathers guys but until we started winning these games we will never be ranked.

Will be interesting to see how many hit the portal.. If are going to go into the portal they wont play in a bowl game. I really think we should decline any bowl offers. put a fork in it this season should be over.

in the new world of NIL coaches contracts should not be signed for more than three years. There is no longer the luxury of building a team.

I bet we dont win another game and we stay home. Seeing players leave before the season is over, finally firing a coach who should have been fired at end of the last season may to much over come. I think Morris is hurt more than they are leading on. It chaos man! Our offense has disappeared

If this team does not get together it will be a long season. The last two games were a disappointment. What Is Texas Wesleyan NIL budget?

I guess there is no I in Team.....The players are now like employees. If you quit the team maybe security should escort them of the campus. No credits for the last semester. This has to go both ways now. If they finished the season is one thing but to quit with two games left not so good.

It is going to be hard to be a coach in leagues below the p5 level. She has a point but it is reality. I think this will keep Morris in his job until his contract is up at least. Shame he spent all the money on a bad bad DC. Wonder if the defense is going to be charged up or going to be down for the last two games of the season. ECU qb is on fire.

Is morris hurt? we are not throwing long anymore it seems? I know he hurt his arm a few games back. Is he not 100%?

Morris should not be allowed to interview for the DC position. We need to have someone who understands the defense to ask the right question. Could we ask Orr to do the interviews for us?
