As important as the record is, we need to get more people in the stands for our remaining games. Bowls do look at how teams are supported and if their fans will travel with them.

we go 8-4! i had thought 7-5 going into the season but the great game last night made me give them an additional win. I did pick them to beat ball state.

We beat both la tech and tulane, utep and the university of texas el paso at San Antonio, ball state and so miss and maybe tulsa.

Oh well lets throw in the towel on this season before it even starts. Give the coaches and players a chance to play. Why would anyone want to come here and play with fans like us? We tear down our own teams. I grew up in El Paso and the Miners were getting beat 86-6 etc etc. They were so bad that the band played the fight song on getting a first down. Yet the crowds (not as big) continued to come to the games and cheer for the miners. We need to get behind the team and give them a home field advantage. Granted this is my first year back living in the area and my first year buying season tickets. I think we will be better than people think. Put on the green shades on and let the good times roll, football season is almost here!

This has always been the problem at NT we have no loyal fan base. Win or lose they are our team and we need to support them. i hope we make a big step in the win column this year but if we dont i will be back next year. We need to bring in that lady who sang for the razorbacks after their big loss to cheer us all up. could be worse you could be new mexico lobo football fan! I am finally leaving Albuquerque,nm and moving back to Denton, TX. Just sorry i missed the basketball game this year at the middle school (fund raiser)l. Hope to meet everyone at the games. LAst game i was at was Fouts field and i looking forward to the games at the new stadium.
