time to pull the plug, i am not a person who knows a great amount of coaching for basketball but it seems we stand around a lot on the floor. Seems the other teams are always on the move.

i guess UTEP can guarantee they get to play in the Sun Bowl every year.

i am just think he did not spend much time here, so does he really have an interest...I love for him to play here but just don't get a good feeling about a short visit.

the season is a total loss and he gets axed after the season is over, i think i said march 30th but i think it will be a week after the season ends. I don't know if evans would finish the season for us but i guess rick could coach the final games. Where is Chico when you need him

Denton is more fun than albuquerque, UNM is a commuter school aka the University Near Mom. How anyone would choose UNM over UNT is a mystery to me. I lived in albuquerque for about 30 years and recently moved back to Denton. The campus is located in a crime zone. It is more a basketball school than football, can't get a ticket to the basketball games but there is not much else to do there.

I think in the top 25 players make a bigger difference, in the mid majors coaching can make a big difference.

Remind me again why is this even a topic here? We have to give our guy his chance and we can not worry what everyone else is doing. I am a little worried? Of course but I am willing to give the good guys a chance to win.

you can't fire benford who will take over for him, Evans won't do it will retire, chico is gone. I think when the season ends we make a change or Benford leaves for personal reasons......

I think college football was more fun in the past,the top teams now are semi pro. The best thing for college football is to everyone have an equal amount to play with and that is it. Level the field and the games become more exciting for everyone. I know the fans can't enjoy dragging body bag games into their stadium. I think there is a big difference between a good win and should win game. So we kill all teams except the top 50 programs boy that will be fun. Of those 50 programs there will be 10 really good teams and 40 teams that rotate around the top ten programs. Even though we have had two really bad seasons I still enjoy going to the games to see the people around me, the band play, the dancers dance and occasionally a touchdown. However, I do want to win!

i would think about all spots are open after a 1-11 season.

I think this is why i am feeling so down about next season before we have played a game.
