Is Porter from the El Paso area? There is no reason to go to UTEP. I left there and never looked back after growing up there. Hope he enjoys those nice EL Paso springs where the sky is brown from the dust being blown up. He can blow there 50-60 mph for three days straight. UTEP is a commuter school. This really strange to me. The only persons who could down vote me are people from El Paso. Everyone else knows better. Hopefully Cobbs and company have some health RBS this year to work with. Note to Porter: Do not eat at Chico Tacos. It is the most overrated fast food restaurant in the world. Stay away from the tail gate area and Cincy Street both can be dangerous ....lol

Just a side note I got to the UAB game way too early and was watching the team shot. For some reason I started the guy at the very end of the bench. He is white kid with a cheese mustache. Anyway watching shooting the kid hit 21 straight threes. I know he was not being pressured but still impressive.

would be nice to a big back close to goal line and short first downs. He might be able to break some short yardage situations into big plays with this size. Juco with one year of eligibility that is wild in this age.

If it is a basketball only it needs to be smaller. 4-5k at the most, no upper bowl unless they are suites. It will also make tickets a little harder to get and people want what they cant have.

I sit on the opposite side of the players bench. Last night there was two people sitting at those seats that are right next to court and the seats behind them had few people in them. Do season tickets go towards the attendance numbers? if they need people to sit in those seats to make look better I am all in.

the bowl game is now full contact scrimmage for next year. See what backups can do or cant do. They lost their leading rusher which means nothing against our defense.

Maybe the rich teams should start paying the lesser teams money when they sigh players off the portal to help pay back the farm systems. we could have franchise players lol.

Oh I agree, most would and I would seek the money. Not a lot of fun following teams that can never be really good anymore. I think the solution might be to go to an option type offense. The rich schools are looking for passers. Rice might have the right idea. My personal feelings is I may becoming to the end of my fandom for college football. Have not watch an NFL game in years and I never really missed it. I do enjoy going to the home games and talking to friends around me but it comes with $500 cover charge. I wonder how the portal has any negative effect on graduation rates? I sure it has done some damage but that not what college sports is about any longer. How long before the big boys dump the graduation rate as a factor.

They need to dump the lesser bowls, with NIL and players leaving before the bowl game it doesn't make a lot of sense. It is the second team playing in the bowls now. I am not buying a ticket to go to the game. Not much of point anymore

What little we saw of the backup qb he seemed very hesitant when he was on the field. I think more playing time might help that, oh wait we had to pad the starting qb stats who wont be here next year.
